Also Ill ask this one more time lol Anyone found out if Close standing Mp to C fierce and Roundhouse are 1 frame links.?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??! No one has mentioned this lol.

Well CTF got this set up last night. I’m tentatively planning on going down there after work, but my friend said 30+ line waiting to play…

We won’t know for sure until frame data is released, or if you see everybody and their mamma easily linking it then it’ll be a good indication of it. Of the videos I saw, I don’t even recall anyone using it.

It should be fairly easy to do if you plink it with cr. lk~hk. Right now Goukens 1 frame links are a little tough, b/c you can’ t plink the jabs, only cr. roundhouse :frowning: Damn 4 frames.

Someone could take a 60FPS camcorder to an arcade and test it out :stuck_out_tongue: BTW I made a new thread with all the known changes (that I knew of). If anyone has anything to add or correct, please feel free.

Aye that’s it. Note I said regular tatsus, j.MP -> EX Tatsu will still do 210 damage and is more than just HK Tatsu.

I had heard(but havent seen it backed up by video yet), that the slowest normal someone connected after cl.MP was far.MK which would likely indicate it’s+7(you know if far.MK is unchanged).

cl.mp would be +7 on hit, yes?

It is the closest I’ve heard thanks to a far.MK. So it sounds like sweep and c.HP are 2 frame links, medium punches and c.LK are 3 frame links and jab/c.MK are 4 frame links XD

I hope this is the case ^_^!!! Id be willing to spend some money at the arcade just to try these links out. These links have to be what im most excited about doing with gouken. Man i wish an arcade was near me.

Don’t get dejected so quickly. There are a lot of posts here to read and it is easy to miss a few lines.

I am going to go personally test Kongo FADC tatsu just for you as soon as I find a location near me that have AE. I can’t find any in Vancouver. Rush, E-spot and Metro town Arcade don’t seem to have it and those are the only one I can remember.

I’m wondering if AA kongo > FADC > EX tatsu from midscreen will get the full EX tatsu due to the vacuum properties. ugh at not having an arcade nearby.

I don’t think you would need to do AA Kongo, since in Strawberry you can already do Kongo > EX Tatsu, it just doesn’t land all the hits. Now that it locks I don’t think it’s a question of whether or not it works, I’m pretty sure it does.

From the AE Gouken vids, looks like LP Palm range is horrible :frowning:

Aye it’s true, but instead it seems to be way safer than I ever expected it to be.

I expected it to be safer than the old LP palm simply because I noticed the block pushback for palms were really good. I think it’s still punishable up close, but spaced LP palms now are probably even safer than you could ever get palms to be pre-AE. I’ll take the blah range for something I can buffer through c.LP and have it be relatively safe on block.

So is LP Palm useable in pseudo-blockstrings or not? Noticed on the confirmed page there aren’t any hit-confirms into specials :frowning:
