I think you’re probably right
Command list for Gouken has been posted on the official ssfiv site:
EX Tatsu (from the ground) now has Armor Break properties.
Also,
Looking at the list I realize I’ve never seen Kongoshin break armor.
I tried to reproduce this situation against Abel’s EX CoD - the Kongo beats Abel’s attack, but does not register as counter hit and the Armor Break effects aren’t displayed. Do you think this is intentional or the list is wrong?
iiperu’s fuerte is seriously good.
he’s not insulting the players guys, just the flaws in the character.
honestly, a lot of us wouldn’t be playing gouken at all if he didn’t have those flaws so it isn’t that big a deal.
lol@ raun’s goo though!
They are changing the ranked system again… I don’t play it often, but if I’m reset to 0 points when A.E. launches I’m going to be pissed.
You wont be the only one pissed. I hope this comes out for consoles soon!
Cool for EX Tatsu.
Don’t try EX CoD; try something like Gouken’s cl s.HP xx Kongo mash.
I’m not trying to get anyone’s hopes up, but in the PDF with Gouken’s AE moveset, did anyone notice that there are two rows of inputs for his Ultra two?
Can anyone handle the translation? My first assumption is that the first row just says that Denjin execution is 2xQCF + KKK, and the second one is 2xQCF + KKK (Hold KKK for more power), but I was just wondering.
Did anyone check the new AE trailer? There’s a glimpse of Gouken using EX tatsu as an AA vs Blanka. Simply put, it doesn’t launch nearly as high on the first hit, so the tatsu fully connects without fail.
I applaud Capcom…seriously, I shat bricks upon seeing that. You just gave us an epic AA move that does 200 damage, 200 stun.
Saw that too. And I shed tears
Totally agreed. In the clip it’s clearly visable that where/when Gouken hit Blanka with EX Tatsu might result in an incomplete Tatsu, but Blanka moves in to adjust for the full clean hit.
Such a sigh of relief not to have to worry about using that as a viable anti air in that situation now.
I wonder how FADC on EX Tatsu will work. I never saw a FADC-able move that locks opponents when hit.
The second row on the Gouken movelist is what you translated to, but idk what you’re talking about the first row.
He just needs c.mp to combo to fireball and tatsu to hit duckers, then he’ll be a true flowchart shoto, heheh.
tatsu would also need to hit low for that
and not come out in 7 frames =( haha
i’m excited though!
whenever it is that we get it anyway -___-
That’s a really good question actually, because now if you get the first hit of ex tatsu and then FADC, where would the opponent be in that situation. if they move into the hitbox automatically after an fadc then Gouken may have just lost an FADC into Ultra possibility.
Lol, honestly I kind of like that cr.mp xx hadou doesn’t combo. I can’t tell you how many times in a match i’ll do cr.mp hadou and when my opponent is low on life, they’ll know it and try to punish me in the corner. But, because I know it doesn’t combo, I’ll just throw out the cr.mp and let the opponent whiff an SRK and punish.
This happens to me the most against boxers. If they’re in the corner and I do one cr.mp xx hadou, then do another cr. mp, they whiff a headbutt.
The battle system looks the same way. The presentation was different so it threw me off.
Same shit, different toilet… hmmmm kinda reminds me of…
A bit dated discussion, but I tested jump-in MK -> Close s.MP -> s.LP. The LP gives close version instead of far version on Abel. I think I can say a deep jump-in normal or flip kick -> Close s.MP -> Close s.MP will be free of character specific.
Rauns gouken is solid he is a great player but that character is free for elf. You should know better than most ive been beating your gouken free since vanilla. It looks like his changes in ae are gonna change that though should be interesting too bad were not gonna get the game for another half year maybe.
EX DF = free combo vs Fuerte shenanigans.
Lol u mean equals free ultra/rsf for elf. Thats the only thing gouken has on wake up and it doesnt even get him out it just lands him right next to elf for a free combo.
what is the second and third sections?
I know that the 2nd section has the overhead and dive kick. But what is the third one on that list and whats the 3rd section in general?
