I just watched yesterdays WNF and not only did Veloc1raptor win, he exorcised his EVO demon Snakeeyez, by first putting him into losers and then winning the GFs against Snakeeyez again, who tried Oni against him the first GF match and got BLOWN UP.
It is to note that Raptor fought Snake several times since EVO and NEVER could take a single game against him.

What I learned from that match:
As soon as Gief got meter, don’t care that he’s got it, mix up your hados with far mk, when Gief is in green hand range, but never get scared of using your hado!

vs gief also :try to get them Kara slide fbs down, they release ex gh or regular on reaction, but gouken karas so far forward, you are closer upon release of hado but by the time he realizes your release point is farther forward his gh isn’t projectile safe so he eats hado everytime

I was all “lolwut” until I realized that I used far hp liberally in the matchup.

Im 7-1 right now (lost to Kbrad). Velociraptor and kbrad are in winners finals of our pool. Im in losers semis. I face the loser of them two in losers finals. Either way one of us is gonna make it out.

Damn! Velociraptor stopped “playing” too soon that match! Both players leaving out higher damage punishes at the end was too much.

a hugo did a backdash then nj , landed and then did a cr lk or mk at the beginning of a match no other movement otherwise and ex tatsu scooped him up , so he was basically reg distance apart from match start with a backdash and it scooped his asss up ,lol

I ordered a new fightstick online tonight, Madcatz Fightstick Pro for 122 euros. That’s a really good deal in europe, where consumer electronics are really overpriced.

My old one is falling apart. I have masking tape holding the wires on their soldering points and the diagonal inputs don’t always work. I bought it from a local modder for 40 euros in February and it’s been falling apart ever since. It’s a really shoddy build job.

I’m really excited, but I’m also experiencing poor person post-purchase guilt.

Don’t know if this belongs here, but I just wanted to tell someone, lol.

well I know youre pain well, my new 8arc which already went back once for usb cable fix, mine at times doesnt move right until I unplug it even then it sometimes still fucks up idk …even when you pay good money the crap still sucks
