Gosu SSF4 Challenge #3.1 - Fairfax, VA - 08/28

Gosu SSF4 Challenge #3.0

Here at It?s Gosu, we think it’s pretty important to give back to the community.

Members here have personally made contributions to various charitable organizations throughout the years. That’s why we’re excited to expand our efforts by holding a food drive in support of the Capital Area Foodbank!

Simply bring a canned good (or two!) to any of our ?Gosu SSF4 Challenge #3.0? tournament and in turn you will receive a discount of 2 dollars on the venue fee. Everything raised will be given to the Capital Area Foodbank to help feed those less fortunate. No matter how small or large the contribution, every bit counts.

Thank you for being a part of our ever-growing Gosu Family, but most of all,
thank you for giving.

Get.Give.Gosu.

Important Notes:

For users with Wireless Controllers:
-We will be adding tags and holding on to your controller to prevent interruptions of ongoing matches.

-Please bring your own controller. If you do not have one, we will provide you with a PS3 Dualshock.

-Please turn off and disconnect your controllers after your match.

-Please respect your opponents and be a good sport. No need to get salty and throw your stick at people. This is a tournament there is always a winner and a loser.

-If a player accidentally or intentionally stops the game for any other reason, he will be forced to forfeit the round. Example include accidentally pressing the start button on his controller to pause the match, unplugging his or his opponents joystick, etc. If the game cannot be restarted from the exact point of interruption, the player is forced to forfeit the Game.
-Please be on time for registration! I cannot express this enough. We will not allow late entries, so please be there on time. It helps making the brackets easier. For those that are not from the Northern VA area, traffic is horrible so take into consideration and leave your house early.

-If you know you’re not going to make it on time before registration ends but will be there when the tournament starts please call Cyber Ground and make a reservation.

-Do not delay your matches, if we call you up and you are not there within 10 minutes, that will count as a loss to your match. We do not want to do this but, we really want to keep the ball rolling with as little interruptions as possible.

-There are nearby food places (Tippy’s Tacos, Arby’s, Baja Fresh, McDonalds, Glory Days, etc.)
-The Vienna Metro station is only a few minutes away.
