I think the FGC was just becoming too much for Goo. The whole Art/Jago thing may have started it, then the being high at FR. and of course PerfectLegend and Triforce possibly pressing charges on him for wiretapping as well. But it could just be as simple as Gootecks wanting more out of life than sitting around in people’s houses playing SF and going to tournaments and not making any money besides off of col. CC, which may have fired him for the FR shit. It’s all very confusing, but I’m certain Gootecks isn’t gone for good. Hell, he may just be leaving CC but staying in the FGC or he could be going to MLG to do commentary or something(they offer shittons of money for that type of thing) Let’s just wait and see.
I can’t for the life of me begin to imagine that Complexity let Gootecks go because he was high at Final Round.

If that was the case he woulda said “I feel like it’s time for me to move onto bigger things” or something along that line. But he didn’t. He kept trying to explain the situation without giving details. It’s clearly disagreements with SOMEONE.
Yes! The first person I thought of was Combofiend. He’d be the best fit and seems to have the best chemistry with M.Ross next to Gootecks.
The next person I’d pick would be Flash Metroid because of him and M.Ross also get along well.
The last person I want to see is F.Champ. His cockiness and loud ways do not fit the show. Gootecks and M.Ross brought a sense of humility to the show which is why they are so popular.
Guys like LI Joe are cool guys and all but it almost feels awkward watching them with M.Ross on the show because they don’t have that chemistry. It’s like M.Ross can’t be himself or tries not to say anything offensive. It has to be someone close to Ross where he feels completely at ease.
