I’ll tell you the story why Gootecks stepped down. In south california born and raised, in the arcade was where he spent most of his days. Chillin’ out maxin’ relaxin’ all cool and all shootin some aegis reflector outside of school, when a couple of guys, who were up to no good, startin making trouble in the neighborhood. He got in one little fight and complexity got scared. They said ‘You’re movin’ your ass away from cross counter’. I begged and pleaded with him day after day, but he packed his suite case and went on the way. He sent out a “FUCK YOU” and then a farewell.

will be interesting to see who will replace Gootecks on CCLive. Combofiend is the obvious choice but I don’t know if he wants it. SubZero or Renic might also take it but Renic doesn’t live in Cali.
Mike Ross can’t do that show on his own, it would just be weird.

I love it when sarcastic remarks piss off so many people because they think its a genuine opinion. With all the “trolling” going around nowadays you would think people would be more aware of these things.

Gootecks was the first one to turn everything into money when SF4 came out. He was never truly a top player, so he looked for other ways to make that paypah, now he can’t.

I only watched CC to see Gootecks and Mike (although Combofiend is funny as hell too) but this basically kills it for me. Mike makes me laugh when he plays and commentates but it wont be the same. I wonder if they’ll still sell the Excellent Adventures shirts. I want to buy one now to forever remember those two together
