Any good online stores for SF besides Ruppsworld and Herofix? Rupps is too expensive (40 bucks a foil - yeah right) and Herofix is down.
I would like a store with sealed and bagged books, if possible.
I don’t do business with these but what about this store? I believe they were one of the few to stock the Christmas limited edition Street Fighter busts and I checked that they stock the comics (Whether they’re sealed, bagged and boarded I didn’t check I’m afraid):

You can find SF#1 foils for 9 bucks on eBay, and herofix had it for 14,95 IIRC. 40 bucks is ridiculous.
I shop at Midtown Comics the actual store, not online and I can tell you they charge 15 cents for bags and boards. I’m not sure if they charge for them when ordering online though. When you pre-order and arrange for an instore pick up at Midtown, they only bag and board stuff like foil covers, not the regular books. Let me call them up and ask.
Gave Midtown a phonecall. They said for online orders they bag and board the books for free.

True it’s a ridiculous price to ask and I’d be amazed if they sell, the problem with the power foils is that it’s up to the retailer’s to name their price isn’t it? Some of them will try their best to get shitloads of dosh out of it ($40 is shitloads for a recently released power foil to me and it’s not a great deal for the old ones).

They charge 14.99-19.99 for powerfoils. The ONLY ONE that is 40 is the Chun Li cover. Which is also out of stock on the site and probably a pricing error.
They DO NOT CHARGE 40 DOLLARS FOR POWERFOILS.
Do some fuckin’ research next time, please, like clicking onto the front page and seeing DS#4 for 14.99?

P.S: Their other foils ALSO cost more than the usual price (SF#2 foil for 20 bucks). The San Diego Summer Special is also more than usual. Capcom Summer Special. SF#0. SF#1 (17 bucks, 18 bucks, 25 bucks! Some of those are normal issues that you can buy for 2,99!), SF#2 (8 bucks! 10 bucks!)… I can keep going for days… They only reach cover price on issue 7, dude. Thats called total rip-off.
You didn’t say SF#1 when you made your post. You said “40 BUCKS A FOIL” which implies more than one. Nice try. Don’t mince words to try and save face.
Not to mention you led nortlee, and anyone else reading this thread, to believe that the average foil price was 40 bucks, which it clearly isn’t. (14.99)
You can’t even buy that one anyways, so I dunno why you’re crying about it.
And the reason it’s 14.99 is because Udon raised THEIR prices. Yeah, they USED to be 10 bucks back when, but good luck finding them for that price anywhere but ebay.

You just owned yourself again. Foils are not re-released, dude. Unless Udon and Erik Ko were lying when they announced specific numbers of copies for each foil. So… explain how that would affect the previously printed foils, which did not cost 40 bucks. Or 20.

As expensive as the Power Foils can be, SF#0 tends to go for more on sites.
i hope herofix goes back up. i can get 3 powerfoils off herofix for the same price as buying 2 off rupps. 5 bucks may not seem a lot but considering the price of the item itself, you’re paying 50% more at rupps than herofix
