So spring break is coming up, and I’m not going to Final Round. I need to know who’s going to be here in Memphis because I would like to play some people and level up.

High roller tourney recruitment…
Why high roller tourney? I know plenty of people that would play in ST tourneys but they wont when they have to pay the high roller price. Why are all ST tourney’s high roller nowadays? I have a friend that went to EVO and said that all the ST tourneys were high roller and they had at least 20 people walk away when they found out how much it was to enter the tourney. If we want new blood we are going to have to make it the same price as all the other tourneys. I think a High Roller tourney every now and then is okay but why does everyone of them have to be High Roller.
Shonda just told me that Larry’s Mom passed away suddenly this morning. Everyone please keep Larry and Shonda and their family in your thoughts and prayers. I can not imagine how he is going to deal with this hurt while having to run final round. 
I have been knocking around the idea of a high roller invitational tourney at my house for multiple games. Only maybe 8 people per game. ST is one of the games I’ve thought about.
I will try to have ST at any of the future RCRs since I just need to do a little soldering here and there to have a portable CPS2 setup. Those wouldn’t be more than $10 entry ever.
Tripp: Who do you know that would play in ST tourneys? No one in the state plays that game at all it seems…

I think people play it but they are underground about it. I also know many of the people here on SRK are interested in it but there is no drive to learn it since we have no tourney’s but high roller.

I bet Chris would jump aboard if we had more people and maybe even Arson and Gram. If people like KOF XIII then they would enjoy ST. I am in no way saying that they would but honestly guessing that these few would be interested.

I feel pretty content though, I didn’t win many of my matches, but I at least held my own for the most part after I started getting into it. Definitely need to work on my execution in that game, and pick up my K’ combos and Duo mix ups better.
