Good Shit TENNESSEE at Final Round!

Rukus: I hope your mom is all good man. Holla at me if you need anything.

I thought I was the lone TN Juri main… good to know another one is out there…I hate I missed that… I been dyin to try her out in cross tekken too its basically Juri and whoever else i can learn to play with as my team in that game…hope shes not too different from her SF4 iteration… I just started getting comfortable…

She’s basically in Feng Shui Engine all the time now, so you can chain a low short into a sweep. She can follow up an EX Pinwheel with a link into a low forward and cancel into another EX Pinwheel or even straight into Kaisen Dankairaku. She can also juggle with a low strong after the first hit of her divekick and then cancel into Kaisen Dankairaku. Also, the hitbox looks like it’s way bigger on said super, much easier to hit after an EX divekick, and it even moves her forward a bit when you do it raw.

So overall, she looks absolutely nuts from what I’ve seen, and I think I’m even forgetting some stuff. Playing her more offensively also seems like a much more viable option, which I couldn’t be happier about.

Fuck Juri. I see that bitch on the on the streets I’ma blind her. Have her looking like Sagat after Dans pappy got in that ass.

But losing eyes just makes Juri stronger.

How about when she loses her tits

That’s just no fun for anybody. Did Juri rape your dog or something?

Additionally, warrior women in olden times used to cut off one breast in order to fire a bow more accurately, so I’d have to go with “makes her stronger” again.

No. I just don’t like the slut.

Chris: The only way I go about learning a new character is taking all the basics that work well with everyone, applying that to the character I want to learn, then basically “try out” what can be done in each matchup. Street Fighter is very matchup specific so you have to get into a flow and realizing most matchups are going to be similarly played out…

For example:
Know your character’s special moves, figure out how they work, same with Ultras/Supers, etc
Find your basic mid-range footsie for poking
mid range footsie for punishment on counters
best “fast” move sequence that becomes a frame trap (Jab, Short, Strong, etc)
Find your best neutral air to air counter
neutral downward “striking” move
spacing for “safest” poke
Frame advantage move that is most active (Honda Fierce Headbutt, Yun Palms, etc)
Apply all of these basics BEFORE you mess with combos and then gradually add them to your game…

I’ve always had more success playing this way because the hardest part is out of the way…the easiest part would eventually be the execution on a punished move (not talking crazy 1-2 frame link combos, but basic heavy hitting combos)

I mean, I don’t mess around with characters very long, it takes me about a couple of hours or so to get a good “feel” for them but it definitely takes more time to “master” each character obviously. I don’t consider myself “great” with any character but I am very proficient with everyone, and that means because I know how everyone works I am better prepared fighting against them if need be. Unfortunately this is all just stored up tournament preparation stuff that I don’t really use since I’m not actively playing in tournaments but this is my preparation method…

I mean I do have a group of 3-4 “mains” if I had to call them that, but it’s all player specific…some people I can win more against with my lesser characters than my “good” characters…that is why it is important to have a good group of characters just in case you fight against someone unfamiliar with that experience…

Down + Fierce Punch, stand MK, crouch MP and sweepers? =)

I feel some kinda way about yall bad mouthin my girl…but at the same time we ain’t savin these hoes… #confliction

Richard or anyone with knowledge of the AES, how much should I pay for an AES system? What is the going price for one?

You guys have me hyped for the new SSX game. Never played one before but I enjoyed the demo. Haven’t played an over the top sports game since Tony Hawk 4 online. Definitely add me on Xbox when it comes out because I’ll be all about it.

This is something I’ve been looking into myself and it seems like it would be better to consolize an MVS 1-slot. MVS games seem cheaper than the AES counterparts. Haven’t researched much on neogeo hardware though so don’t take my word for it.

I was actually thinking of buying a full Neo Geo cab and just saying screw the console but I do not know where to start with that either.

Hey guys, quick update on the T&G recordings. YouTube has been acting like a major fagnugget recently and so my videos are uploading at a very, VERY slow pace compared to the norm. All the videos are rendered and ready for upload so they’re all just sitting in the uploading cue, and I’m basically gonna be running it day in and out over the weekend to get these up as fast as possible. Hopefully most of them will be done by sunday but I can’t say for sure. I’m really sorry about all this delay.

Neo Geo cabs can run anywhere from $200-800 depending on what kind of system you want…

Neo Geo Arcade Hardware on a TV requires a Super Gun ($150-200) and an MVS 1 slot system that is JAMMA compatible ($75-90)

Games are much cheaper than AES counterparts. AES systems run about $225-255 usually with one controller…

I have built a pretty extensive AES collection, around 110 games or so but slowly have been switching the US versions for Japanese counterparts (the systems are the region coded ones, not the games) because I’m selling the same games for $600-1200 and buying Japanese for $200 or less on some of these…

Rukus, you want to play some Marvel online possibly? Been back in the lab in that game and need some solid comp.

ok my bad i wasn’t even on my PS3. I’ll hop on in a sec

$200-$225 for the system and a controller, memory cards run $45-$55 each, cheapest first party extra controller I can find is around $60

or you could just buy mine LOL

Also, anyone feel like playing some Wipeout or Blazblue on Vita? Bored and trying to hunt down some matches
