PS2 has problems as well…I’m telling you, the only reason PS2/PS3 lived for so long is the “pad”, both of those systems have issues…even when proven other systems of the time (Dreamcast, XBOX, etc) were better, people just won’t let go of that damned PS pad…I can’t think of one Street Fighter game that was good on PS2…CVS2 was pretty decent, but Dreamcast was a no-brainer…ST was laggy as balls, Alpha Anthology was even worse with lag; I just don’t get it…I don’t knwo Guilty Gear very well but I bet the Wii version was better, AHAHAHHHA

fuerte vs dhalsim and fuerte vs dictator are always enjoyable matches for me. I wish I knew more about the Dhalsim matchup.
GGs to Jason and Walt. Felt MUCH better about AE tonight than I did at fight night yesterday. For some reason I wasn’t feeling it at Fight Night and was on auto-pilot most of the night. Guess I just needed a night’s rest and a mental break from it. I was feeling really good in that set. Felt like I made some good adjustments vs. Guy and Fei Long. I just need to adjust FASTER. Thanks for the games Jason.
Walt - Don’t get so down on yourself. I just know the SHIT out of the Fuerte matchup from playing Eugene for hours while he tries to troll. Why he isn’t playing Fei Long is beyond me, but his Fuerte is legitimately good. You were adjusting towards the end. My goal is to keep you from starting your offense, so I get in your ass immediately. Your goal should be to knock Bison down when he has no meter. You can basically do whatever you want at that point because Fuerte is cheap. Also, ALWAYS pick U1 vs. Bison. It’s perfect for his floaty ass jump. This isn’t Kang, but Fuerte is DEFINITELY a member of the “Fuck of the Screen” committee.

Chris: Yeah, the problem is if you don’t adjust after one match, 2 games is the tourney and that’s the issue with “adjusting” to players’ styles…you basically have to do it by the second game or else GGPO…

Oh I’m not down on myself, I really do like those matchups. I got some pretty ridiculous reads/reactions off so I’m feeling pretty good. Just gotta play smart (not wasting meter trying to escape when I know the option isn’t on the table) and make less spacing mistakes. Might help if I ever did training mode too, could probably knock loose a few tricks that have rusted shut for me like the c.mk loop and comboing overhead into super, get RSF 100% of the time, etc. But Fuerte is just for fun for me, if I’m gonna put in work I’d rather put it on KOF13 training mode or Yun or pretty soon on some HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGOOOOOOO.

Don’t have a 360 but I’ll get it on PC. I played the hunter in the first game. Mean with sniper rifles and Bloodwing. This one has a frickin ninja!?!? Can’t not play him.
