I still think Beni and Kyo are better but he’s definitely not far off. If his normals had better reach I’d have him number one.
What they lack in range they make up with their flexibility. I think he’s the most fun to play though out of the cast.
Another character that is slept on is Yuri. She’s golden.
I had it on while I was doing something else and prob didn’t catch that. Damn. I guess they were just trying to make it an easier, more accessible experience right out the gate, like everything easymode nowadays. But that kinda of shits on some of the creativity and handling. Part of the rush was trying to maintain boardpresses to link tricks and continue combos while deciding whether you were godlike enough to catch a certain rail or drop. Or risk bailing and losing the whole combo. Now it looks like I can take whatever line I want with relative ease. It’s still all good though. Any shredding is better than none(almost).

Yuri isn’t slept on at all. She’s been certified boss and ran on multiple squads since arcade version, especially at anchor. It’s just that most of the Yuri players that enter US tourneys are pedophile creeps who suck.
