Good Shit TENNESSEE at Final Round!

You definitely had one of the lowest three in the state online…I know only GoldenOreos was lower…and that is overall online VS matches…

I did some more digging…this game is about 22 months old for these stats…

That means for my online matches I average around 107 matches a week online…if I play 5 times a week around 20 game sets online, that sounds about right…I’m not on much more than 3-4 hours a week total but that’s what it shows…

Josh being the highest total averages about 174 matches a week…

I never see Josh online anymore, so it’s possible he could have played 1,000 matches in a week and then slept for 2 months, lol…

so i been in my own thoughts the last week or so about moving to Nashville to live with my brother…if I make the move it’ll be after the spring semester is over…I’ve convinced myself Memphis is driving me mad slowly…

what say you some of the guys that live there?..

and still looking forward to at least participating on Saturday…playing SF online lately has been killing me tho…frustration and salt on tilt.

LMAO! All tall, white dudes look the same. I can easily distinguish two Asians, two African Americans, or two Hispanics.

And you really do look like S.Kill. That’s awesome.

I think that’s exactly why ranked is good. I never understood people’s distaste for ranked matches. People complain about online gimmicks and people doing the dumbest stuff just to win 1 game, but I rarely see that. Most players I play that are around lets say 2500 and up will play smart and give you a decent match. Yes, OCCASIONALLY some dumb stuff will hit you, but you have to be prepared for that too because in a tournament setting you only have a few rounds to adapt anyway. Anyone that has any gimmicks will likely bust them out at that point.

It’s also a quantitative way to see your improvement. In the last several months I’ve gone from consistently staying around 2400-2500 to staying around 3200-3300 which I think is about where I should be.

That’s not to say PP makes you good. But someone with high PP is likely to be a solid player. You, RagingRaven, Cylus, Ford, etc I would all consider good and not relying on random stuff to win ranked at all.

DLC?

Where are you getting these numbers? I wanna see how much I’ve played.

SF x Tekken is being streamed from the WGC right now

Eraser, you can see this specific number if you go to Leaderboards and press one of the buttons to show stats…it only has three specific numbers and the one I derived was “total”…I have yours just on my other computer at home but that is how you find them…

Kinetik: I agree 100% about Ranked…in fact if anything it better prepares you to see wide varieties of styles as opposed to playing in person only. In this day and age online is a MUST. The best online “warriors” are arguably the top two players in the USA…Wolfkrone and Latif…

I think the only stuff that makes online difficult is if you are constantly trying to do wacky combos or punishing things like Juri’s Windmill kick…those can be a little tough but if you go from PS3 to 360 to LCD to non LCD, I am pretty sure people can adjust by now to online =P Footsies will always be harder online (as a whole) but the netcode is 100% playable…

Those two players also both use Viper though… a character that you just do shit with online and off.

I would think it is harder to play Viper online…(then again harder to block her shit too, lol) those are the only examples I can think of…I don’t know who is and isn’t a supposed top player but I am sure there are more than those guys that play a lot of online…

You used to say you considered online a different game altogether, and I tend to agree. Have you changed your mind? Granted, I see where it is useful for some things, but I feel fairly crippled when I try my regular tactics of reactive punishes.

Can anyone turn their Xbox on with their stick’s guide button? Can’t remember if mine used to do that before it was dual modded or not.

Totally sucks getting up to turn it on. First world problems.

No offense taken. I lovemy training mode. I’m not on EddieKs level though

JUST TROLLIN

I actually have no idea how BP and PP work, lol. I just play.

that’s interesting. Most people think everyone of OTHER races look alike, not their own.

yeah I agree. Online defintiely has it’s place for learning matchups and seeing what people do. It’s VERY good for that actually. Problem is as you stated…footsies. alsoooooo

Yeah certain characters are impossible to block online. Also Gief MAGIC GRABS YOU BASTARD

Nice post format, bro.

Don’t blame me man, blame tapatalk. The fucking end quote tags are in there. Tapatalk is ASSSSSSS.

Trying to fix it now…

Edit: Fixed because I’m a G.

Ugh. Playing Blazblue on ranked is reminding me why I came to hate this game to begin with.

Ya justice has 2293 and I have 2190, a good mix of random player matches, some ranked, and a lot of Arson on here playing Akuma and Viper lol.

No, online is very “different” overall but for basic practicing against styles it is a decent substitute.

Don’t get me wrong, I can’t do the thing I do best offline, which is delay throw timing and interrupt strings and counter footsies…I tend to attack all the time online and turtle offline. That is how I can go from one to the other…

However, offline must be at 720P  1080P is a little wtf on this game even on ASUS

Then I’ve got GOOD NEWS!
