Gief Vs. Hawk is totally even IMO. I would say if anyone had an advantage it would be Gief due to his throw range being longer, but if Hawk can guess right and DP out it won’t even matter.
But then again, after seeing Lieut Dan rape Jodim, maybe the fight is in Hawks favor. 
I feel in theory that the match is slightly in Hawk’s favour. SPD’s extra range is a big advantage only if it’s not neutralised. I think Hawk’s normals are better and his DP allows for better mix-ups.
Saying all this, I too have yet to fight a Hawk that beats me silly but I’ve not played this Lieut Dan guy.

That matchup is verry tough for Chun to keep Hawk out since he can get in so quickly So I have to pull out all the stops to keep him at bay lol I’ve learned a few tricks but tricks will only keep him out for so long. It seems like it’s only a matter of time before he gets in and smothers me lol But thanks for the mention

angel killah: good chun li player. I played yesterday in ranked and he came back from 2 rounds down to win. Played very intelligently and used a combination of feigns, skill and tricks win.

GGs, Coth. I seriously thought I had a solid strategy to get around your fireballs. Didn’t really pan out so I had to rely on pushing you into the corner or good old float fierce. I did notice I managed to tag you once or twice with diagonal jump fierce. I wish I had been paying attention to how far away I was, though. Luckily I can probably do that in practice mode.
@Shari: Last night was awesome. You really gave me homework to do with those crossup walldives, I couldn’t figure out how to stop them. I really enjoyed messing around with the different characters a lot - your Bison is actually pretty solid. GGs man
Man i got handel last night (even though i stop playing HDR) but, " LADY GAMBIT " plays a wicked BISON and CHUN man i just could not beat her chun last night and that bison was just as good as mine if not better then it.
For a moment i thought that it was not a girl until she starting talking and, tell me strats and new combos she way cool got to play her again…REVENGE…

Not really.
We were both in a room and i won 3 matches in a row against him then we went into a 2 player room and played for a while.
Think it ended at something like 16-8 in his favor not counting the initial room.
So i didn’t do all that bad but far from me even winning much less making him look like an amateur.
