Rolling doesn’t help much, only Ibuki from what I’ve seen can move fast enough after a “safety” aka suicide roll. First parry will work, but you gotta think fast, or throw after that.
I ran into this problem with Urien yesterday as well so I consulted Ben “Nech_Neb” Chen (two time Canadian 3S Champion) last night as he was Toronto’s resident Urien expert. He said that low parry is way too risky. In a case where a player is using a headbutt for the cross up, a safety roll is the best bet against being pinned down. Can’t really argue with the best.

Honestly, i dont think there is a way to escape it. I did parry a few times and tried grabbing after wards but the deflector always hit me no matter which side i blocked from. The only way I was able to escape was when i rolled, but when I didnt roll, I was screwed, lol.
