There’s a few places that’s local to that area.

[*]Frank and Son’s in City of Industry on Wed. http://www.epicgamerproductions.com/concrete5/tournaments/midweek-mayhem-ranbats/

They have casuals/tourney every Wednesday out in the City of Industry, it’s about a 20-30 min. drive from Anaheim to get out there. I believe they have a special discount where if you sign up for EGP’s tourney, you also get a discount to enter Wednesday Night Fights. Call to confirm though. Speaking of WNF…

[*]Super Arcade in Walnut, CA. http://www.yelp.com/biz/super-arcade-walnut-2

The current hotspot for the FGC. Ran by Mike Watson. You can play a variety of games there any day of the week. They got billiards. They got the latest version of Beatmania that nobody else has, shooting games, SF4, UMVC3, SFxT, ST, MVC2, Alpha 2 and 3, 3s, Puzzle Bobble, Tetris, and a whole bunch of other sick shit. Wednesday night has a SFxT, SF4, and SF2:ST tournament and casuals. Thursday night has KOF13, MVC3, and I possibly Skull Girls?

[*]Round 1 Arcade, in City of Industry. http://www.yelp.com/biz/round-one-city-of-industry

Think of it as a more asian (and better) version of Dave 'n Busters. They got karaoke, billiards, ping pong, alcohol, food, bowling, crane games, arcade games, fighting games, shooting games, all kinds of games. It’s free to get in, but I think they charge a cover on weekend nights after 10pm. It’s like $2 or something like that. All arcade games are run by a ‘card’, so you’ll have to put money on it in order to play. Arcade games run slightly expensive, but they have a whole BUNCH of stuff you can do there for fun. They have a good Tekken community there, and some SF4 players as well. No UMVC3 or KOF.

[*]Alex’s Arcade in Santa, Ana. http://www.yelp.com/biz/alexs-arcade-santa-ana-2

A lot of good, local KOF and SF4 players are here. They also have UMVC3 and SFxT running on console cabs, if they’re on, you can ask the manager to put the game disc in. Everything there is 25 cents except for DDR I think. They have ST, 3s, CVS2, and MVC2 as well. A lot of good MVC2 players over here.

If you want to play MVC2, there’s also Regency in Lakewood, CA. Never been there myself, but I know they’re ALL about MVC2. Those are probably the best places to go to in Socal. I highly recommend Super Arcade, that place is home base for me.
