I get along with Anti3d/Mooshead and I wouldn’t harm it in anyway. If i could I would nuke daroms I treated them with respect when i had my server even asked if Dan wanted admin a year back and let them idle and shout asking ppl to go to there server and i never said to stop.
I join for a second when GW is up and someone kick/bans me. I would like to be treated with the same respect as i gave them.
For the Attackers I would like you to stop… If there really attackers first of all… Because Ive seen this type of shit happen to my server lots of weird unexplainable stuff happens sometimes all you got to do is upgrade your emulinker or restart the server. There might be a bug in the one they are using and trust me you can ask the Entire GW community Ive had some really weird shit happen to my GW servers before and it wasnt hackers…

i apologize for holding this information, but T-Kimura and C.S recently admitted to me on aim that they jointly attacked daroms and gw. Emil is beleived to be responsible for assisting them carry out on these horrible incidents.
Well, advertising your server and spamming a bot on another server is kinda lame- they were right to shut you up for that, it’s annoying. Part of the reason a lot of people don’t like GW was the constant begs for money. At one point they even entered games themselves, lagging them. You don’t do that shit now at least.
I don’t know if anti3d is being attacked, or if it’s a bug. I’ve had problems with it crashing Mame when I try to get in there.
I don’t understand why you’d want a ton of people on your servers anyways- it will drive up costs causing you to beg for money again, and it will lag the games like Daroms has suffered in the past few weeks when you went down. That’s the main reason I liked GW- it kept those people out of Daroms.
That said, personally, I have no problems with the Daroms folk- yeah, they drama a bit, but everyone does- and they tend to be more personable then the types over at GW. It just seems more friendly.
T-Akuma and C.S? lol. What could they have against DaRoms and GW? From the impression he gave me, T-Akuma is a big fan of GW where he can have “arcade quality” games.
They were DoS attacks? I didn’t come across dan over the last few days but I think DaRoms admins need to pick up a log file and start banning ips.

The first time the numbers got spoofed was right after Nox got silenced, it doesn’t take a detective to connect the dots. I really wouldn’t care about this nerdrage internet drama bullshit normally, but for some reason my ping on GW’s new server is 90-100, where it used to be 60-70 on the old server. Which is bizzare because I think the new server is geographically closer than the old one.
It’s kind of a pain in the ass not being able to play on godweapon or Daroms, and I just hope this stupid rivalry dies soon.

I wasn’t being a troll, just stating what I saw happen. I could care less what server I play on, if my ping wasn’t 93 on GW I’d be happily playing there. Unfortunately that’s not the case, and obviously someone from you server is fucking daroms over, regardless of whether or not you have knowledge of it.
So because of some kind of stupid drama about online fighting game servers that I have nothing to do with I no longer have a place to play. It’s a pretty shitty deal.
I hate anti3d, not because of the server, but because of the players,they either win 1 game then taunt and disconnect, or lose 1 game and disconnect and change their username.Pathetic.
It’s actually not stupid drama…think about it. When a server goes down for a few days (GW was changing server locations) and everyone migrates to another server they find to be decent (DaRoms), then when GW finally comes back, it’s near impossible for anyone to switch back over to GW (except the guys that have really bad pings in DaRoms). Many of the people in DaRoms even said they like GW better but they don’t go to GW because it was empty…most people aren’t going to enter an empty server and sit there waiting for it to fill up.
So…once everyone migrates to some other server, it’s hard to get back the players. Then it ends up you throw away money on a server in which no one is going to visit. Hacking DaRoms to get back the people is actually a pretty logical thing to do (as there aren’t many other ways to get back the people if no one wants to sit in an empty server waiting). But…that doesn’t mean admins from GW did hack DaRoms.
DaRoms is always going to have people that go there…it’s one of the best servers for Mexicans to play at. There’s no way Mexicans are going to go to GW, as they have about 110+ ping.
It is drama, someone was mad no one was playing on their preferred server and threw a fit and attacked DaRoms. It’s like one girl in high school spreading rumors about another girl to make sure everyone likes her more.
Also, using “logic” if the majority of users really wanted to go back to GW they would have. Hell, I’d have gone back if my ping wasn’t horseshit after they switched locations. I’ve seen servers go down for a few hours, not just godweapon, but servers that were popular before godweapon even existed, and after everyone went to other servers to play someone would be like “Hey, server “whatever” is back up.” and everyone would migrate back. Two days or two hours, doesn’t really matter if your product is better than the other guys. It’s simple economics.
Hey, I’ll concede that maybe your right, maybe everyone will stay at Godweapon if DaRoms comes back online. But we won’t know that until whoever it is stops spoofing the numbers to prevent people from playing there.
The way I see it, its just history repeating itself. Hope we haven’t forgotten our good friends Lucia and issac…our favorite couple…graciously hacking and crashing our official kaillera servers for us. Thou they had nothing to do with emulinker and I want to thank them for unintentionally playing a big part in helping kaillera reach where it is now, how did it end up?..kaillera getting a bad image and good players getting frustrated with the extra delay and lag of emulinker.

I don’t see how you call this a drama. This is someone with a disturbed mind thinking that the end can justify his means. Someone really desperate… Whoever it is, needs to calm down, think things through and sort out his priorities before he reaches the stage requiring professional psychological attention.

btw…I cant seem to access the daroms.com site or their forums. I managed to log into the server using DoS and there was no users there. I doubt that there was any layer-3 hacks so I’m guessing whoever is doing this is connecting to the server multiple times and sending “Login Requests” without ever logging in. I think moosehead implemented a “AllowMultipleConnections” option which can be set to false to prevent this to an extent if that is the case. Unless of-course the attacker has 100 different machines.
Same situation here. It’s frustrating. DaRoms is one of the good servers that helped west and some east play on excellent connection (with decent ping) and little lag, and here comes somebody that wants people on another server to fuck things up. It might not be drama but it’s a low ass thing to do. Now my options are playing on Planetskill which don’t have much ppl yet, or godweapon where I get horrible delays.
Meh, there is more than enough proof to show the attackers were Supra and NoX. I checked against logs and checked against other admins’ and users’ logs.
I also read something about rebuilding the community up there ^… If attacking other servers sounds like a community effort then I don’t know what part of the world you grew up in.
With that aside, I liked DaRoms when it was peaceful. Sure it was neat to see 80 people come into the server, but when it would stay like that there would be so many people doing things they shouldn’t which lead to people getting silenced.
I don’t support any sort of war, or server-wars, or anything you want to call it. I just like to have some fun in the server playing games with people, but recently it hasn’t been possible to play many games.
Ok first of all now your eating shit because i been banned since the first fucken day GW has been up and if you use any common sence at all once your ip is banned there is no way for me to bomb your server cause im totally locked out… Now for supra I don’t know what he did and Im 100% sure he has nothing to do with it. Get your facts straightened out. Server logs don’t mean shit They coulda used my name and hacked server. Again use common sence… You think I would hack your server with my ip and my fucken name so it can be trashed all over the forums? No I dont think so but if you think about it hey hold up his ip is banned for almost the same amount of time GW has been up he cant be hacking the server IM FUCKEN BANNED…
