for beating the top fighters in the world, 100,000 yen ($1,000) seems little. he shouldve went to evo and picked up an easy 7k from scrubs (or 2k if daigo beats him)
2-7k minus Cost of plane tickets minus cost of room and other things. 1k doesn’t seem to be that bad.

man that Viper was nasty. was wishing he’d beat Mago just for seeing Viper take down Sagat.
kyabetsu viper did beast on mago’s team and then proceed to win SBO. Viper took Sagat down pretty easily.
Kyabetsu took out Mago/Nemo (w/ the help of ogosho of course)
Iyo/Shiro took out Umeso/Dashio
Iyo/Shiro then lost to Kyabetsu in finals
All three matches will undoubtedly be on the DVD in October. Can’t wait.

In Japan, tournaments aren’t allowed to use participant’s money as payout (if these players even paid ANYTHING). It has to come from the tournament organizers, or sponsors.
