Okay well I think i have maxed out the damage and torn + Thor can kill any character from two meters. If my torn was better this team would be the my best. It’s amazing how good extra health is in this game. So yeah maxed out starting with two meters I got 1.275 million

Starting from tron
airdash H or airdash M,M or basically anything into a launcher S j.m,m (slight delay) h , land st.m(1 hit) f+m, jump m,m,h, st.m,s jump mmhs, cr.h (assist, I use sentinel but of course others work), f+h Beacon bomb H xx dp+2attacks, dhc MIGHTY PUNISH. Thor jump, h,s land rdp+H xx Mighty Tornado (you start this jsut after you land so you can get the weird fall state from mighty tornado) dp+m, dp+m cancel first hit into mighty tornado. Conversely after the dp+m you can just do S, jump S for launch into immediate knockdown which I think is just short of getting 1.2 million.
Only thing I haven’t tried is going for two full charge mighty strikes after switch by using tron assist to keep them aloft a bit. Should be godlike.
Interesting combo. I’m slightly confused on the first part with Tron. So you do a jump-in to launch? And then an MMH air combo, but delay they air combo so that she drags them back to the ground for the st.m to hit? That’s how I’m reading it, anyway.
Yeah you got it. Jump into to launch, m,m,h with a slight delay so you land first giving you timing to get them with a small rejump combo and then relaunch, does more damage then the standard clakey d loop and perervers your bounce.

I majorly suck at this game, but i like thor as a char. On a side note first i must say i hope dante gets nerfed fuck that dude is cheap. Anyways back to what i was saying, i can find good assists that fit my play style. I mean i dont wanna use iron man or capt a who should i use?
Hard to recommend things without knowing the tiniest bit about you as a player.
Not… really. I mean his Mighty Spark is a good projectile assist that can be of use to a character already oriented toward keepaway, but he can’t really win by keepaway, himself.
Please don’t subject the God of Thunder to keepaway styles its so disrespectful lol
Thor as a keep away is a no no.

I very much disagree but I dunno if you guys are being serious or not. Keep away with him is definitely good if you have a solid ranged assist (which you should anyway). He can zone out a lot of characters because of his ability to use Mighty Spark in the air. Call your ground projectile assist and jump with L spark and you make it very difficult for alot of characters to get in. Some of the larger characters can’t even duck his L spark so you can get some really solid zoning tactics going. Use that ranged damage guys. Since his projectile is a beam it’s especially good for hitting the point character + his/her assist. Don’t let people approach you for free–they sure as hell won’t let you in for free either.
Like a couple of people here I’ve been using Wesker/Dormammu/Thor. I found though that while XFactor Thor is a Super Beast, he’s too risky/slow without assists around. I then switched him and Wesker and started running Thor on. Muuuuch better as I found that Thor’s high stamina coupled with assists to watch his back made him a good characcter to feel the opponent out do some damage and build meter. Naturally, Dormammu exhausts all meter I have when he’s in, and Wesker generally needs no assistance or meter, for that matter, to fuck shit up.
Thor CAN zone with his awesome projectile, and it’s a useful tactic in some situations, but he’s definitely not a “keepaway character” in any sense of the word. At the most, you want to use it to back off and get some breathing space or frustrate your opponent, or to beat them at their own game when they decide to try to keep you away. But against a fast character rushing down, Thor as keepaway won’t last long.
Thor can keep away with the right assist. These people saying he can’t are full of shit. I run Mags(beam)/Thor(Smash)/Doom(beam) and I play super lame if I’m fighting a character I feel Thor can’t keep up with face-to-face. Here are ways Thor can play zoning games
-Doom’s beam assist has huge priority, hits 8 times and tears through other projectiles. Smaller characters cannot duck under Doom’s Beam like they can Thor’s beam. This kind of setup would work with any good projectile assist (trish, dorm, iron man, arthur)
-Call beam assist, normal jump and mighty spark. This covers a lot of space. It forces enemies to super jump to get in on you. When they super jump you have a lot of time to either run under them, normal jump and light command grab, or do a medium mighty spark using the “bubble” as an anti-air.
-A lot of characters with otherwise very good projectiles cannot shoot straight when in the air. If Trish, Wesker, Chris, or Dante try to super jump and throw out projectiles in an effort to keep Thor at fullscreen, you just super jump and hit them with a mighty spark right back. In this situation you can hit THEM, but they can’t hit YOU.
-Fly-Dashing away (activating flight mode and using air dashes to zig-zag away from the enemy) is a great way to escape the corner (or troll Phoenix players)
All these tactics are tried and true. If you working zoning into Thor’s game you are limiting your ability to deal damage and even the playing field vs. faster characters.
As I said before, Thor CAN zone, but it’s rarely a way to win a whole match, and more a stalling or frustration tactic. The damage he deals from sitting back and beaming, even with a good assist, is fairly low.
I’d just like to say that show is AMAZING. best superhero show i’ve ever seen and i own all of justice league on dvd - this will be an instant season one purchase on april 26th yo.
They just wrapped up a season and it was RIDICULOUSLY good finale. Loved it. I was shocked at how good it was - I was expecting it to be a kiddy kiddy show - but no. It’s amazing. Go watch it.

on topic: been using magneto/thor/taskmaster (dropped storm a while back since i am awful with her) or hulk/thor/taskmaster (my hulk needs to get better its too predictable -_-)
Well played tron for like a week an the main problem is keep away and dog own her so thats two things Thor sucks against that tron does as well. New dhc glitch team is Stom Thor sent. Storm is hard to learn but I’m landing near full and full character kills much more often with this team.
all i know is tron on point gets owned by cap for free it’s great.
