I’ll be there Sunday for that THIRD STRIKE YALL. I’ll help with any information to those looking to learn 3S although I’m kindof a scrub so I wont be able to tell you everything about the game like some of the guys in Philly.
Actually, I lied when I said I’d come Sunday. I might come. Depends on how many people go for 3s/who comes.

Yeah, I would def. have to say that cab is solid. There is some cosmetic niks here and there, but you don’t recognize the burning one bit. I got to see it at NEC, and I was drooling over the picture, had to have said something like three times about it.
Other then that, I would say pick up like three ASUS monitors, and you will be ready to roll. Don’t limit yourself just to Fighting Games obviously, just put aside some selective time for the scene. You will make solid money on the random kids that come in to sit down and play some CoD or what not…good luck with the setup.
Speaking of, You should have like an online play section for people who wanna trol… I mean, play online at your store for people who doesn’t have good internet at their house… =[

I like this idea. I think there should be the 3s cab since we already know what kind of crowd it draws (even for weekly casuals, let alone tourneys), then if there are any other cabs they should be like CPSII or Neo Geo so we can get some not fighting games. Imagine like… a dad walking down the street with his kid and it’s like “Hey buddo, wanna go in there and play some vidya games?” Then the CoD people or whatevs can chill out on they’re nice, shiny ASUS monitors

I think four monitors for newer games would hit the right spot, as far as both attendance and space (if I’m imagining the same space as in GJ), and like five billion VS cabinets.
Online is also very useful in other games. I think if I was in the same person as every person I proxy void ray’d in SC2 I would be dead :[
