Giving you Shin Akuma Bossmods (Omega Update v1.05)

Hi all, i was looking for Shin Akuma Bossmods for a long time and how to install them. Sadly the latest Bossmods were made for SSF4(AE), so i decided to take USF4 and make a Shin Akuma Bossmod. Today i decided to share it with this forum. This is version 2.2 of my Bossmods. The first one was shared on HunterK’s usf4 mods wiki but i decided to put it up here too - there we go:

First some usual things: I dont take any responsibility for anything in this package nor to any damage you do to your computer due to this procedure and so on. Backup your game etc.

Shin Akuma Bossmod for USF4 2014 Ver 1.05 (updated instructions + moveset) Version 2.2.2014.105

Now that Capcom released the omega v1.05 patch for USF4 we need to do things again.

Thanks to the guys from http://www.sf4remix.com/ weve got a new launcher allowing us to load patched files again with the latest version. The latest USF4 remix version

http://www.sf4remix.com/download/complete/USF4REMIX-25042015.zip will do this job.

dir = directory = folder

Installinstructions to load patched files:
(1) Remove old launcher and sf4_remix folder from your usf4 install
(2) Dowload the zipfile mentioned above
(3) Put all to steamapps\common\Super Street Fighter IV - Arcade Edition (your USF4 dir)
(4) You now have RemixLauncher.exe and the new sf4_remix dir in the same dir as SSFIV.exe is.

Congratulations – you now can load patched files and are able to play the sf4remix version of USF4.

Remove sf4remix hud to gain original hud:
(1) Goto sf4_remix dir
(2) Goto battle dir
(3) Delete hud dir

If you want to play with vanilla characters and only add Shin Akuma Bossmods do the following:
(I) Replace sf4remix chars with vanilla ones:
a. delete sf4remix chars
i. Goto your USF4 dir
ii. Goto sf4_remix\battle\ dir and delete chara dir
iii Goto the regulation dir
iv. Delete all directorys in here (the launcher will then copy your necessary unmodded files)
v. Start the launcher to get original files and close the game

(II) Put Shin Akuma in:
a. Download my zipfile from http://www.share-online.biz/dl/O5N829HN1KQT
b. Put the two files to sf4_remix\battle\regulation\ae2_110\GKI dir
c. Put the two files to sf4_remix\battle\regulation\concept_111\GKI dir

Shin Akuma features since ver 1.0:

  • Removed fireball limitations (you can launch a new fireball while others are still in screen)
  • Faster normal groundfireball animations (hadouken spam. Slightly decreased speed from first version due to balance)
  • Red fireball animations faster
  • Red fireballs now hit 2X 3X 4X 6X (LP MP HP EX)
  • Red fireball move now is quarter circle back + punches instead of half circle back + punches
  • Gouhadouken EX hits 4X
  • Double Airfireballs (Bossmod)
  • Faster Teleport + recoverytime (Bossmod)
  • Bossversion of Raging Demon + Wrath Of The Raging Demon (invincible, ultra high priority)
  • EX airfireball got now 4 fireballs

New since version 2.0:

  • ShouRyuKen (bossversion) now hits 3X 4X 5X 7X (LP MP HP EX) (halfed damage of the hits due to balance, but u still do more damage and the multihits are fun)
  • Tatsumaki (hurricane kick) now hits 3X 5X 7X (LK MK HK) (halfed damage of the hits due to balance, but u still do more damage and the multihits are fun)
  • ShouRyuKen’s and Tatstumaki’s and all fireballs are now chainable (juggling power!)

New since version 2.1:
Some VFX changes to make Akuma look more evil and more “shin” ^^.
-improved ShouRyuKens’s now have a red aura, because Akuma gathers evil power to unleash their new potential
-normal HaDouKens now use red HaDouKens animations because of this nice red evil charge this animation got (this is closer to the first HaDouKen animation from SSF2T where Akuma was first seen)
-improved Tatsumakis now have the same red evil aura as ShouRyuKens have, because Akuma gathers evil power to unleash their new potential
-improved red HaDouKens now youse the same red evil aura additionally to Akumas red aura that belongs to the animation, because Akuma gathers evil power to unleash their new potential

New since version 2.2:
Some VFX changes to make Akuma look more evil and more “shin” ^^.
-improved ShouRyuKens’s now burn the opponent
-normal HaDouKens now electrify the opponent on hit
-improved Tatsumakis now burn the opponent

hi, is it possible if i can get a version of shin akuma that only has the original boss features, which i guess would be just:

  • Double Airfireballs (Bossmod)
  • Faster Teleport + recoverytime (Bossmod)
  • Bossversion of Raging Demon + Wrath Of The Raging Demon (invincible, ultra high priority)
  • ShouRyuKen (bossversion) now hits 3X 4X 5X 7X (LP MP HP EX) (halfed damage of the hits due to balance, but u still do more damage and the multihits are fun)

but is only activated if i pick omega akuma and:

  • re enable the backflip airfireball (it got disabled in omega mode)

so that if i pick the non-omega version i would only get vanilla akuma

Hiho - a simple akuma bossmod would be possible. But the multihit ShouRyuKens arent part of this :wink:
U have to put the gki folder in a different folder to overwrite omeag mode char.
i guess its in sf4remixdir\battle\regulation\ae2_111 or sf4remixdir\battle\regulation\concept_111
so for now move my gki folder to one of those above and see if this works out :slight_smile:
