Let me get this straight, so she knew that she wasn’t going to graduate and yet she went to the ceremony with family present and this is the best contingency plan she came up with. Why would you even go to the ceremony? Wouldn’t it have been easier to fake a sickness or something and not attend at all?

If you called from a payphone(If you could somehow find one) could that be traced to a specific person as well(Barring something like being caught on camera placing the call at the time, etc…). The kids that do those swatting pranks don’t get caught, but I know they basically use phone proxies to throw the police off their trail.
