Ya’ll wildin mane. I have like zero emotional attachment to ghostbusters 1 and 2 to be mad at this, and i watch those movies at least 3 times a year in full still to this day. There doesnt appear to be the hot sigourney weaver character that i will forever fantasize of sexing up so far, but we’ll see.
Movie is gonna be fine. Its not like ghostbusters is the hardest franchise to rewrite for. They could literally just remake the first fucking movie in a sense, and get away with it just fine. I dont know, maybe im missing an update as to why i should be mad at this movie, but it seems fine to me.

I wouldn’t say it’s a solid female cast. I’ve seen most of the work from these women and personally they are 50/50 most of the time. Although to date I have yet to hear a rational explanation as to why it’s a all female cast aside from "why are you sexist or something"so I think it’s legitimate criticism. Although the movie seems to be in the same tradition as most remakes meaning it will be a shitty modern adaptation that embarssses the franchises legacy.
