I think this could be a fine movie. I think if the actors in this movie take this as an opportunity to drown us with feminist nonsense, rather than just talk about how awesome the franchise is, and tell there own personal ghost stories, there will be drama.
Imma go see it, unless the first trailer is objectively horrifying. I highly doubt that.
Akroyd is a writer on the movie, and he wrote the first two movies. Hes also a conspiracy nut, so hes going to have some detailed fun with the paranormal shit he puts in this movie. One of the other writers is a woman who was a writer for parks and rec, mad tv, and the movie, the heat.

The four ghostbusters in this 3 I had NEVER heard of before. And the cow is only famous because of her sister. If it was four actors that had any real name value at all it would be different. Why not Gillian Anderson as a ghostbuster if they could have done it? There’s a LOT more females out there that would fit these roles better. Hell have a female ghostbusters team and a male team to make everyone happy.

Should have released the full trailer yesterday, due to the Ghostbusters 2 setup.
Oh well, I’m optimistic, but still indifferent for this.
Reason being, the IDW comic is continuing the original movie legacy and has established the Ghostbusters multiverse…(which the 2016 movie falls in) in last year’s story arc.
So if this bombs, it won’t even matter, since the O.G. crew and Kylie, are still kicking ass in the comics

It should have either been the old cast or extreme. I also find it funny white women are calling it racist cause Leslie’s role.
