Yeah some funky shit happens with the controls if you are on the horse and spot some Mongols and they see you and you try to run. After they get away the camera like randomly gets stuck or drifts like shit. It’s happened to me both times that I ran tonight and didn’t wanna waste time engaging.
I just finished a part in act 1 that I was sure was going to put me into act 2 but it didn’t after I finished it. I’m guessing this game is long as shit.
Beat it a few minutes ago. I think the story did a pretty good job of getting me to care about the characters and the weight of the decisions. Was really good but i got impatient with it towards the end. Started to feel burnt out on the combat and the open world stuff but to be fair that was after going hard for 50+ hours
If i look at it objectively I’d probably give it an 8.5 out of 10. Best graphics. Really good story. But crap AI and repetitive open world structure. Has a lot of moments that make you feel like a bad ass.
Also the game glitched out on me during the final final scene and made me reload to repeat the fight right before. That sucked
Enemy weapons are more deadly, but Jin’s katana is also more deadly.
Enemies are more aggressive in combat.
Enemies detect you faster.
Tighter Parry and Dodge windows.
Patch 1.05 will also include the following new options in the accessibility menu:
Lower Intensity Combat
Lower intensity mode is meant to maintain the heart and feel of Ghost of Tsushima combat while relaxing several timing-specific elements. Combat is less intense, giving you more time to react. Stealth settings are more forgiving, and enemies take longer to detect you.
Most enemy attacks which are normally unblockable become blockable when Lower Intensity is enabled. Blocking with L1 will keep you safe from more attacks than standard combat, though some attacks must still be dodged.
Enemies break off their attack combos after damaging you, giving you a chance to recover before the next wave of attacks. In addition, your heavy attacks will interrupt attacks from Brutes, giving you another way to stop their combos.
Enemies will not attack you while you’re using Resolve to heal.
Enemy awareness builds more slowly, giving you more time to recover after being spotted.
Text changes
Large Text option: Increases text size of subtitles, mission objectives and interact prompts by 150% when enabled.
Added option to turn speaker name off when subtitles are enabled.
New subtitle text color options in addition to white: Yellow, Blue, Red, Green.
I’m not feeling Taka at all. The man is a blacksmith. He’s already providing a meaningful contribution to the war effort. Why the fuck does he insist on being in the field? I get the feeling this man will get himself killed and Yuna will blame Jin for it.
Can’t wait to try it. One major complaint of mine is that the game is too easy. Even on hard mode. Why even try to sneak if you can easily mow down 20 dudes.
I want to do a second playthru but without worrying about collecting shit like the shrines fox dens and pillars of honor. Im worried about missing some of the skill tree unlocks that way. I suppose it would force me to cut it to the essentials
Taka went out almost exactly as I thought he would. I’m glad that his death wasn’t used to create a rift between Yuna and Jin. That would have been too cliche for my liking.
I feel for Ryuzo. The guy jump ship to the Mongols in a desperate bid to provide for his men and ended up fucking him hard. Dude probably hasn’t slept since burning that peasant at the stake. He looked like a fucking mess when you see him. Jim shivering and looking at his hands after killing him hit hard. No one should have to kill their best friend.
