It’s called desync, happens in pretty much any online game…not sure why you would argue about this with someone when desync is so obvious to detect. And you weren’t exactly fighting the cpu…your commands were still registering, just that it wasn’t in sync.
Edit: It seems this patch still does not fix my problem…WTF is this?? So incredibly frustrating…
Try Reinstalling the game Emil. 1.08 didn’t work for me until i did that. Don’t know why though.
1.09 worked great for me. I only got to play two people (not many have upgraded yet) but they ran smooth.

Edit: Reinstalling the game did not work. All it did is remove my rank and all my wins, even when I replaced the backup…yay, wonderful
Edit2: OK got back my rankings/streak…but more importantly, the new version of 1.09-2 still doesn’t work.
I had to reinstall as well, didn’t put in 1.092 though. Everything ran smooth, nothing different, it’s nice seeing who has the some version as you, patch actually lets you see who has what version. Works great on my end.
you obviously got something on your end that the software apparently does not like. i did learn that sometimes when a match fails to load after the select screen, it can be due to one of the computers not loading the game fast enough, causing the game to drop. so i hope your computer doesnt have slow loading.
new version works better than ever btw. best yet. now if we can only decline matches and have a better filter option to stop people with shitty connections, harrassing us. lol

it be nice, but you know, its nice not having to hear the opponent cuz the average player online, is a total asshole, or a whiner and its nice not hearing them or them typing up a bitch/shit talk session. should just be an option heh
…do they even know what they’re doing with the patches anymore? the game won’t recognize any of the 1.09 versions.
the patches are fine, patch it correctly. once again, make sure you restore the original ggxx.exe then patch with 1.09, after that, then patch with the 1.09-2 fix. its the same way everytime. not very hard

didn’t know that I had to get rid of ggxx.exe to do that. that’ll probably work, but for right now, I’m too uninterested to try the solution. thanks for helping though.
i finally got this to work… the first game i played was fine, there was no lag at all, the first time i clicked on someone that was idle his name was Kohiko using potemkin… then i was just in the lobby looking for someone that was idle when i was challenged by someone and this game was so slow… it was moving like 1 frame at a time… his name was waffle using slayer
is it bad to quit a game if the game is so laggy or will people get mad over this?
Just quit in the first round and it’s all good, playing with lag is just terrible.
Everyone here needs to change to 1.06 RIGHT NOW, this is driving me insane. CHANGE DAMNIT, and spread the word. I get about an hour of games a week while I used to get almost 10 hours of games a day.

emil, you are seriously in the minority. so i doubt people are gonna go back when the newer versions are hella better. like i said, the shit must not like some of your hardware and/or isp
My server list isn’t responding, anyone else ever have this problem? I can’t seem to get GGXX to run online, this started going on as soon as the 9 patch came out.
need to go read the dustloop forum. they stated the servers changed
didn’t do that. Just did everything works great, except for the high ass pings.
