but GGXX is outdated. if this guide was for Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core, different story. dustloops.com is the best site for ggxx guides and Guilty Gear period (IMO)
yeah i was looking for a tier list for gg reload but its so old if there is one, its probably deep embedded into the threads and i tried searching but i coudlnt find it and most of hte time it woudlnt let me search cuz i enter the validation code in wrong, but i can barely see the weid letters and such, anyways, i got this from gamespots forums, can anyone confrim if this teir list for reload is the most accurate
S Tier: Eddie
A Tier: Jam, Slayer
B Tier: Robo Ky, Millia, Dizzy
C Tier: Bridget, Sol
D Tier: Axl, Faust, Venom
F Tier: Ky, Testament, Zappa, Johnny, May
That’s pretty much it, some can switch around. F tier sounds kinda harsh, everyone was playable. I also thought Johnny was a bit higher too.
ky is by far the worst in XX. He has absolutely NOTHING in that game. Horrible damage, combos that dont knock down. Nothing BS about him what so ever. And everyone in GG had at least some damaging combo/lock down or something. Ky had nothing. he was horrendous.

Johnny was higher in XX because of his good damage and pressure. There’s no way Johnny was on the same tier as someone like Ky. He was at least mid-tier.
Anyone who says KY sucked in Reload has no clue what they are talking about. He could easily compete against any other character including even Eddie. If you always lose with Ky, then it’s because you are inexperienced and need to practice.

That video doesn’t prove anything really, except that ky has to do a lot of work to beat eddie, but that goes for everyone. IIRC Ky is low tier in reload as well.
can someone look at the tier list i posted and tell me if its right, i just found it at some random website, i know u can use anyone and reload is known for its balance, but im just curious
It doesn’t have Anji, so that’s a problem right there. 
Anji was generally considered the worst character in the game; he really came into his own in Slash. He’s F tier, and the characters currently listed as F tier should be in E. Th eexception is Johnny, who should be a little higher; #R Johnny wasn’t as good as XX Johnny, but he was still better than the rest of the E tier characters just because of the damage from level 2 Mist Finer combos.
Sorry, but Ky DOES suck in #R. A lot. Same with Anji. Doesn’t mean they’ll never win, or that people won’t play them. Think Cammy and Blanka in ST. Reminds me of one match in #R labeled “Best match” of the tourney. It was Ky vs. Slayer. 3 rounds of Ky working crazy hard, putting on solid tight pressure. Then Slayer gets loose once and bam. Ky is dead. Ky simply just has to work 10x as hard as the other guy to win. Imagine playing Rock, Paper, Scissors, except you have to guess right 5+ times, while the other guy only has to guess right once or twice to win.
Ah… first of all isnt this thread XX? Second no ky is sucks in both games. And ah for not knowing what im talking about, ahh who won more tournies then I did in XX and reload back in the day? Ah yea thats what I thought.

That is for #Reload, sounds pretty accurate though from what I remember.
XX tiers were different, all my characters were low tier lol…
hey guys im trying to get into the GG scene but dont have a ps2. im planning to grab a copy of xx reload to run on my 360. would i be able to learn the physics and gameplay by playing that game and not completely get fuk’d over when i play AC ?
where is chip on the tier list?
#r can be used to get use to movement, pacing, and other general stuff. When you play AC you won’t be completely fucked, but you’ll still be soundly fucked.
