Yeah I agree with that, with the notes and also with her Chemical love attack. (the across the screen attack with K) The fact too her air dashes mess with Dizzy a bunch. Real evil stuff.
I finally got revenge on the May player last night. I used Slayer, got a 5 win streak and he gave up. That was my first time using him in real battle. Even though I still had to put up with his labyrinth of random dolphin rides, 214P>P got him dizzy really fast. I even instakilled him 4 times. It felt gooooooooood! :nunchuck:
Yes I try to learn alot of characters. Say you’re in a tournament and you pick the wrong character that you didn’t want at least you might know how to use him/her so you might not be as fucked as you think. Put it that way.
Heh nice going the slayer stuff dude I dont know about the tournaments out here but when we pick the wrong character we go “oh shit” and our opponent lets us go back to the character select screen! Its pretty chilled here in SoCal everyone is cool.
Yeah, we get the same thing here with picking the wrong character. Go back to character select, and it’s all good…
But how cockeyed can you be to not pick the correct character? Anyways, yeah, stick with one character, learn everything about them, and then move on to another character if you feel like it.
Against May, Slayer’s 6P owns dolphins. Also, watch out for a CH 6P from her, as it can lead to you getting dizzied and IK’d. Basically, just bait May into doing unsafe things and you’ll be set.
I know about going back to the character select thing, but I’m talking about when playing on GGXX/#r arcade cabinet where it’s no turning back if you pick the wrong person.
Still, learn one character, where they are on the character select screen, and you won’t pick the wrong character.
Try every character a little bit. See who is comfortable for you. For me, I simply cannot use Anji at all. I actually started with Dizzy, but I got bored of all the projectiles and switched to Zappa. I’ve been with Zappa for almost 2 years now, fits like a glove.

Only regular GGXX in Petersburg (actually Colonial Heights) and downtown Richmond.
Is there a GGXX scene in Petersburg or Richmond? Will there be a crowd on either Friday or Saturday night? If so I might drive up there. I live in Roanoke which isn’t too far away.
Don’t know about Richmond now, but I wouldn’t call it a scene down here in Petersburg, but I brought my laptop to the arcade and had them watch the SBO #R matches, they liked it, so it looks like something might happen. There is one dude in Charlottesville has nobody else to play, but his Bridget is awesome.
Other than that, here in Petersburg moments where crowds form are far and few between.
That’s too funny. Somebody at fusion (I forget what his name is now) told me about somebody from Chrolottesville who’s bridget is really good.

I used Anji alot on a SF Anniversary stick. But yeah the Bridget player’s name is Steve. He lives way out in the boon docks of Charlottesville, I drove 1 hr 45m and spent the night with him last month getting some GG on.

Were you the Anji that beat my May? I was undefeated on Saturday minus that match and some random Milla who beat my Baiken. I was using Bridget, Dizzy, Baiken, and Axl. On Saturday I added May to the mix.

Those Anji combos involving 623HS are too good.
Anyone know Robo-Ky’s bad matchups? The main ones I have trouble with are Potemkin (I eat Pot Busters), and Ino. Ino’s flying dash and air pressure tears me up.

how do you perform i-no megalomania and Dizzy’s Hikari no Tsubasa i am only asking because i can’t beat dizzy’s story path 2. one of the story faqs says that both ino and dizzy have boss powers but the command for it isn’t there
