What’s the most damage Axl and Baiken can do for less than 50%?
I seriously need help on combos for those 2.

Going to pick up Testament.
What should I know?
EXE Beast HS Badlands, TK Badlands, TK badlands.
EXE Beast S Badlands TK Badlands Tk Badlands.
Throw, you know what? Fuck all that.
JUST LEARN HOW TO TK BADLANDS AND THAT’S IT.
Once you can TK badlands, nothing else matters.
Anti air?Badlands.
Combo starter? Badlands.
Mid-range poke? Badlands.
What move is safe on block? Badlands.
Air to air? Badlands.
What to do after S/HS EXE beast? Badlands.
Throw? Badlands.
Is this game Wii, or PS2 version, online?
Yes, I’m a noob.
not sure if you’ve tried this again, but IIRC 2S -> 2H works on crouchers.
Yes, yes, and…no
6P is your string overhead, 2K is your string low. 2D at the end of block strings can catch people unaware. 5D is a good dust because its hitbox is large and Testament leans back (leans back). 6K and 6H are excellent pokes that can lead to knockdown. 2H has invincibility and can go through shit. String 2H into 2D into badlands or skull projectile. Fwd EXE beast is exceptionally broken, because it comes out super fast after you input it. Pretty much any trade is good for you, since your Fwd beast has a good chance of knocking them down, and will push them away, giving you space (and if you’re lucky, you won’t be knocked down and can run up web -> 6P or 2K string.) Anytime you do a badlands you can end it in Master of Puppets or Nightmare Circle (his two supers) for poison or the serious tree/web tokens. His FB, Gravedigger, has to be FD’d in the air (at least if he does it from the ground), and can catch people off guard.
Testament is by no means my main, and I don’t do anything particularly crazy or fancy outside of that one easy Shonen tree -> IAD badlands oki setup. I’ll plant some gardens and poke from a distance, and once I get a knockdown, I’ll run up, web, and 6P or 2K blockstring into whatever. If they block correctly I’ll just back EXE Beast FRC and make them guess again.
Check this out when you get a chance.

Daaamn, check out this Bridget loop using the come back stop glitch thing. Haha.
How do you do that?
All the links shown under that difficulty ranking table on the very first page are dead.
Help??
It involves some quick tapping/negative edging I guess, like the quickness you’d need to kara-cancel things in 3s. Right after each other. You like… hold HS so it spins a little or whatever, but you have to let go for like 1-3 frames, apparently, then press it again. http://www.dustloop.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2883
I knwe about the “tugging” thing, but that vid was madness.
uh dude you suck if you can’t punish Badlands and it’s “safe” -13 on block. Geez wtf. If they space it wrong, the 2nd hit whiffs and it’s even more punishable. Not like, poke into pressure punish, but full combo punishes off unprorated moves for a lot of the cast. TK Badlands is at least -7 on block (still quite punishable) and it gets worse the higher up you are in the air, so still combo punishable by most characters. Also punishable on air-block, depending on how high up they were (at the very least, you’re at frame disadvantage so they get a free mixup on you after airblocking it).
Anti-air? It’s freaking slow at 16F startup on the ground at 12F (+ jump) startup in the air. It’s pretty decent as a preemptive anti-airdash attack but again… punishable. If they air FD it or something (which they don’t have to, btw) then it’s kinda safe. Air IB (or IB in general) and you’re boned.
Also it’s really easy to SB the 2nd hit of Badlands. If you’re quick enough you get a CH punish, otherwise it’s “just” a big non-prorated punish for most characters.
-EDIT-
I just sat down and messed with SBing Badlands, it’s so freaking easy to get CH punishes and the SB itself is easy. Slayer gets his CH Dead on Time combos off the SB, Sol gets CH 6P into whatever, pretty much everybody gets to land their sorta-slow CH death combo starters.
And if you time the SB a bit late, you still get to punish the Badlands normally so yeah.
Honestly, badlands isn’t the main brokenness with Testament. It’s Forward EXE beast more than anything. Badlands hitbox and knockdownage/loops is just icing on the cake.
The problem with badlands is the 1 hit property, take that away and the move is honestly pretty balanced.
Yep, the one hit crap it such bs.
Forward exebeast it good, but teste i guess need a much safer guframeeee!
Man messing with SB is hilarious, lots of moves can be SB’d on reaction, just takes some practice to get it down in real matches, though. Shame you don’t really get a punish for some of them (unless you’re Slayer lololol) but it’s nice not having to deal with some setups/blockstrings (like anything into Baiken’s chainpull, the chain is pretty easy to SB on reaction, no more pulling you back in with frame advantage to mix you up!)
Everybody who’s ever wanted to SB the 2nd hit of Eddie’s shadow K, don’t, you’ll just get hit by regular Eddie.
I was just shitting on badlands that’s all:wgrin:. And thank you for the info on SBing Badlands.
Another Q. Slayer’s qcf+D (I forget what it’s called). It’s beastly, just in general, and I acknowledge and accept that. But when, exactly, can I use it? I like to force my way to Kys about to do stun edges, through Zappa craziness, in on gun flaming Sols, and other certain jump-ins. But is that its main function? To get through/under/around moves?
And what combos are good to use with it? My favorite scrubbish combo for that move is qcf+D xxx K, qcf+D, but I sincerely doubt that’s even mediocre.
Though my favorite scrubbish combo is HS, K Mappa RC, HS, K Mappa RC, HS, Pilebunker just cuz it is a simple 240 damage combo that is ideal for finishing people when you have lotsa tension.
