I can do some basic stuff with all of them, but none of the advanced stuff. Unfortunately, due to lack of arcades in my area, as well as people who like 2d fighters, I’d never be able to truly put anything I learn to the test…unless this game gets a port to Xbox Live (via consoles or arcade…and I’m not trying to start anything here)…since apparently this ps2 version doesn’t have online play, unless I read wrong…

yes i know it does that, but does it really keep them staggered for 3+ seconds??? i found this very strange, i know it staggers, but when im able to run and jump around them and they are STILL staggered, im thinking its a cpu glitch or something.

Question: As Johnny, I always eventually get run over by Millia and Chipp… I know speed is not on his side, if I run out of coins for pressure, am I screwed? Even with Mist cancelling pressure, they can definitely either jump high, a fast poke, or some random move that out prioritize my own…

Ok im still trying to learn Ky. For some reason im not doing to good with the pressure game and i keep missing FRC 236S and HS. I somewhat have the VT loops down with most characters without the FRC and what the hell do i do with stun dipper? It seems so different now. Im only good with HOS so im trying to learn some one new. I dont mean to be a pest.
The 236S/H FRC is just as his cape stops moving/touches his legs. It’s the only “new” FRC I’ve really had to learn myself. Stun Dipper only properly combos in certain situations, it’s generally safe to do it in a combo after 5H if they’re just out of 2D range. Move can be pretty gay though and only give you the first hit with the second whiffing. Within blockstrings, it has a few uses if you FRC it to continue, crank guard bar, set up a throw or do whatever.
when do people use the s stun edge frc?
wouldn’t people always go for the h stun edge frc if they knew they’re gonna frc a stun edge in a block string anyway?
The slow one reaches them later so you’re technically at more advantage I guess. Might make it easier to combo off of?
As far as I know, using the word “abare” is pretty common now and is adopted by the community as a whole. Argue all you like, but I doubt people are going to care and stop saying it. Other common words are “yomi” and “okizeme,” the latter being the more popular of the two and is used widely for practically all games, old and new players alike. It’s just common “lingo” or “slang” used in the community.

ORKARZ: H actually has more startup. About 3 frames. H version cancel is better farther away/not in combos.
