Word. I can adapt like a mofo so it is no problem for me. I just don’t like it very much.
^I didn’t like the setup for like… an hour. Then I got used to it and decided it was fine. I had actually set it to kick underneath punch instead of vice versa for a little bit and thought that was right. Was glad I decided it was fine when I played it down at tilt in p-town though. My friend was like wtf are the buttons and I’m like punch then above it is kick slash hard slash dust, nigga.
Is there a compendium (dustloop or here or whatever) of character changes/additions? I’m still way out of the loop and on #Reload for now… Played Slash but never got it.
That was retardly helpful. . .thank you. . .
Are these combos useful?:

Hook me up with the dog block strings mang. Also, I refuse to do 236s (sword) without 50% tension for the sake of covering up my dumbassery on pushback every now and then.
It’s fine to do sword 236S without meter every now and then (or quite often, really), because you get the “mixup” of either doing the followup (beats them moving or hitting buttons) or pausing, then doing a high/low from like midscreen 'cuz the sword is still hovering around them.
what the hell is with pot being completely invincible when he dashes backwards? Shit is gay.
Everybody has some invincibility when they backdash. Pot just happens to have most out of anybody making his backdash easily top 2 in the game. Plus its because he’s Potemkin. nuff said with broken self.
More zappa strats coming soon (namely the dog and Raoh)…
it forces you to stay on point. Cause one fuck up and your done sir
Yeah, found that last part out. But that dash casues mistakes to be easily made. especailly on my noobish level.
Seeing as I’m starting with Sol and Venom, and matchup vs. pot advice?
some back dashes in the game really sucks, like dizzy’s and sol’s (but sol don’t really need it since he has vv)
Use moves that have longer active frames than his backdash, like for Sol if you’re jumping in, j.HS or j.PxN would be better than j.S. Otherwise just gotta watch out for it and bait it out.
that would be because pot is the most scruby character to play at high level… or any level for that matter.
yea, potemkin is pretty stupid lol.
i still think sol and ky are simpler to play… i’ve played both pote and ky as subs up to slash (no ky in ac), and ky definitely felt easier to play than potemkin.
potemkin is pretty easy on the offensive end. but also has a lot of one-sided situations that is horrible to deal with like axl pokes and getting zoned full screen by dizzy (although the overall match is 50:50 imo). ky, in comparison is more well rounded and easier to manager overall.
I play sol because he’s a shoto.
I find Dragon install quite super. But I play this game sort of systematiccally, so yeah, I suck for now.
And thank you all for telling how to kill this jerk.
Okay! I can land two reps of May’s ‘lame loop’ off of her command grab, a counter hit jumping hs, and a sweep into forcebreak (only setup that needs tension, sometimes i have to RC the command grab if im too far in the corner and need more dash time). They seem to bounce out after the 2nd rep of the lame loop. Should i just finish the combo with 6H then? Or be tricky and try to dash under to reset?
if ur too close to the corenr after the throw just ex =/
i dont mean simple, i meant scrubby
pot is THE scrubiest because you dont need to think as much as any other character in the game. When playing ky you have a lot of options that can go either way in many suituations and against some characters you have to put quite a bit of thought (and have reaction skill) to zone correctly. Where pot has a 66% chance of hitting you after knockdown and gains 30% tension after heat without extend.
and im not saying ky has a huge thought process cause he isnt that complicated compared to many others.
how the fuck do I fight slayer with jam?
ughhhhhhhhhhhh
umm well either wait a bit more before the 2nd rep so that they’re lower… or do P XX Dolphin to end it.
Don’t Dragon Install. Ever.
