GGPO Banner art?

Hi all.

I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask but does anyone know what game if any, the artwork for Ryu in the banner on the GGPO site is from? Does anyone have a link to just the image of Ryu itself?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

the picture of ryu is not from a game. it’s from the street fighter comics.

i don’t recall what issue, but i know it was drawn by joe madureira.

i’ll look it up for you.

it’s from the back story of street fighter #1 (not street fighter II #1).

it’s a little grainy. you should nab the comic and scan the image yourself, if you want better quality.
