5. Xbox Port forwarding Setup

All participants if not already done must forward their ports on their routers in accordance with the Xbox Live requirements provided below.

If you have a firewall or network hardware, such as a router, you might need to make a configuration change in order for your PC or Xbox 360 console to communicate with Xbox Live. This configuration change is sometimes called “opening ports” or “port forwarding.”

Xbox Live requires the following ports to be open:

Port 88 (UDP)
Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
Port 80 (TCP)

In addition, all participants are required to have a wired connection for the tournament. Xbox 360 Wireless network adapters including the Xbox Wireless (N) network adapters are NOT allowed.

**IMPORTANT: **

It’s the sole responsibility of the participant to know exactly when the tournament starts and to be on standby for their game invite. We will allow up to 10 minutes waiting on the participant to join. Afterwards the player will have automatically forfeited his/her turn and if that was their first loss, they go to loser’s bracket, and if that was their second loss, they are out of the tournament.

DISCLAIMER

The tournament organizers of GGE are not responsible for any internet connection issues. All participants must be aware of this coming into the tournament. Enter and play at your own risk.
