GG Isuka Thread

i am the best Isuka player in the world.

The turn button is something I’d actually prefer over automatic turning, as in automatic turning has rules on when to turn. So players with delayed projectiles can simply stop your block on the projectile by dashing over your head.

The targetting is something that’s tried in another game named OMF:BG completely 3d and also thanks to the targeting system complete shit.

What I’m more worried about is roman cancel vs burst, I use K+S+HS to roman cancel but in Isuka this might mean a burst. And next to that the speed: I saw a vid of a causal and it seems slower then GG X2 #Reload.

burst is all 4 (k p s hs)
and speed is the same, only thing is that there’re modifications to moves and such (to suit the nature of teh game)

Game speed is a bit slower overall since hitstun from moves lasts longer (either that or the Isuka cab here is dying). Very noticeable with basic strings like Sol 5K-5S-2D-236K.

SuperMarioBro: Crossups are impossible in this game since by definition they are supposed to ‘cross you up’ and make you block the wrong way (have to walk forward to block). Well in Isuka you can just hold back and it will block any air attack, even if the opponent hits the further end of your hitbox and lands on the opposite side as with standard crossups.

Doesn’t #Reload also have protection for that? I mean I see Sol blocking lots of cross ups of the cpu(meaning that I’m blocking what’s actually forward).

there’re certain conditions where your dude will automatically turn and block even though you’re holding the other direction…but it’s obscure so don’t count on it

Guilty Gear Isuka is an awesome game but not as good as I thought it was gonna be but anyways it is still great but then guilty gear x2 reload has story mode and one on one battles and justice and kliff. In the end I find both games are awesome. oh yeah and I have played both.

Isuka is cool as a party game only, other than that it licks some serious camel scrotum…the FD is odd like crimson noted…nothing will compare to #R. In my opinion the only good thing that came out of Isuka is a.b.a - a really neat char once you learn how to use her, too bad she wasn’t in #R

The Turn Button Is Hard To Use
But The 1 On 1 Matches There Can Be Really Exiting If You Consider The Fact That You Have A Lot Of Mind Games If You Make Your Opponent Turn Fakin A Crossup

I Like It
And Yeah Ive Never Played Reload Or XX
I Dont Even Know The Diference Between Them
But I Like Isuka So Far

Love The Mind Games There
