Dope. I normally just do cl. RH when I land the cross up since ultra some times whiffs or auto corrects an ex upper cut that whiffs. The timing feels character specific :lame:
dude I get this all the damn time. I believe its due to him crossing up while he dashes as its so damn fast. I have taken to being a bit of a noob and once I have my opponent airborn I buffer the move till the last second. Its handy as I believe the only way to get 2 hits off a 2nd mk.RJ from FADC is to do it last second. but it helps with the ultra too, especially in the corner where if you do it too quick it whiffs completely
Maybe someone else on here knows more about this but I can consistently do Ryu/Kens/Sagats and even Dans FADC> ultras but occasionally ill mess up Adons and do an ex rj like you say.
So. Is there anything else you can combo off of an AirJK besides c.mp xx rj?
Sweep. But the timing is very strict.
timing is not strict. You can connect sweep if IAJK hits a crouching opponent OR a counter hit. You get at least 11 frame advantage if IAJK hits a crouching opponent.

For RJ FADC U2 in the corner you just have to delay it a tiny bit for it to connect. Or you can FADC backwards (better if youâre doing frame trap DP FADC becaue if they block you can keep up corner pressure).
DP FADC U2 is actually easier for Adon than most characters because you donât have to delay the ultra at all (but you can). And EX RJ juggles well so if you fuck it up you might look like you did the EX RJ on purpose >.>
Adon does cross up the opponent during his dash. If this really messes you up just delay your input or hold focus and donât dash immediately.
Generally getting EX DP instead of ultra is because youâre hitting the punch buttons too early (before the ultra motion finishes). You have lots of time to do the ultra. Take it slow.

I wish Adon had more combos. Specially ones that end in a untechable knockdown.

I know you can get it off a counterhit on anyone I think.
Also from ajk you can combo loads of stuff depending on the strength. I usually use the hk version and either go mk xx mk.rj of cr.mp xx lk.rj as it whiffs on crouchers sometimes anyway, the distance of the lk.rj usually catches the 2nd hit

Character dependent. Normally the larger the character the faster the link. You can get 2 rjs in the corner off just crouch lk x 4.

That combo you are talking about is a character specific, low damage, whiffs on all crouching opponents combo that no one feels the need to research the frames on. Nuff said.
cr.mp xx lk RJ works pretty well for getting the double RJ juggle in the corner. cr.lp -> cr.mp xx lk RJ works on most characters - either you can get the double juggle or you get both hits of lk RJ.
I think itâs literally 1 frame to do the RJ but you can buffer it and hold down the button so you donât get negative edge so if you time it right youâll either get nothing or the juggle.
for anyone looking to maximize Adons damage potential. since weâre getting a buff on medium punch, i thought iâd go into the lab and see what we can do with it already.
little something nifty i found out
tkJK -> far st.MP -> thousand jaguars punch = 430 damage
usually i see adon players use the cr.mp instead which brings it down to 410 damage. the range is pretty much the same range and it hits crouching opponents. Only downside is that its like way easier to combo from crouching because of shortcuts.
Does not work on crouching Ibuki & crouching Chun-li. So you might as well just go for the cr.mp combo instead.

Far stand strong is a dope move. So many active frames with a moving hitbox. Easy to fish for counter hits with, didnât know it was super cancelable.
