Getting original with chun- creative combos and resets

Poke. Stay away. PArry, kara throw. Build meter. Cmk xx uper, hp hp poke of choice super. Bla Bla Bla.

We’ve all heard that before. And honestly, can it not be boring to watch? Creativity adds to the fun factor of playing a game instead of doing the same old same old. So, let’s get original. Collaboratively, let’s put up some chun resets and combos that are out of the ordinary and interesting to look at, as well as damaging. Chun got dat style too!

Rules: Don’t just use sa2. Sa2 is allowed, I just wanna see some stuff with other
Exs are allowed
Keep it damaging, for the most part

I’ll start off.
J hk, cmk, lk sbk, ex sbk, ex legs for the juggle. Damaging, but character specific. Uses a lot of meter. A stylish way to finish someone off. Tensai ranka gives a lot of ex and builds quickly, perhaps it could be used. Also, it could possibly juggle in this… Although it’s hitting box is really small for no good reason. That needs to be fixed, seriously.

Chun has some really cool anti air strings but I don’t know too many off hand. They tend to start with st close hk then sjc into stomp, possibly and hk in there. Help here please.

C mk, sbk, ex legs- I like this one because the opponent usually tries to counter after sbk and gets nailed by the legs.

St back hp, sbk- Really cool combo that is best used as a punish. Kudos if you land this after a jump fierce or roundhouse. Maybe you can even go into ex sbk after.

cmk, lk hazanshu- ok… ish. Good surprise or overhead, light damage, used by ohnuki some.

Back hp, hk legs- hard to do because of the mashing required, damage is ok, espec in the corner.

Combo of choice into sa2, late stomp,hp, c lp etc for the reset then…

c lk, tensai ranka. did I mention this super’s hit box and juggle properties needs fixing? It’s good when it hits all the way and terrible when it doesn’t. which is often.

looking for creative usage of all sa’s. tensai has potential.

dodge a fireball with sa2- classic stuff. still works. it rules.

So, palm to sbk? I’ve never tried that mix-up. That’s straight charge partitioning

you don’t have to charge partition that. just charge, b+hp, up+k. don’t think hk sbk combos but the others should.

a lot of tnb’s posts are bunk though so just make sure you know what’s possible and what isn’t before going into matches.
