Getting BB Blu-Ray Tutorial To Work

There’s been some reports that some people are having a hard time getting the Blu-Ray tutorial disc to play properly. I would like those few people to try these steps to get the disc working:

Step 1: Make sure you have the latest firmware update for your PS3.
Step 2: Make sure the Blu-Ray is not in the drive when you switch it on/off.
Step 3: Turn your PS3 on/off with the switch in the back. This will “reboot” your PS3 and the Blu-Bay should be recognized
Step 4: Re-insert the Blu-Ray.
Step 5: Look for the Blu-Ray in the “Video” bar and not the “Game” bar.

If all of else fails, then by all means contact us so that we can get a replacement sent out to you.

I hope this clears up a few confusions…

My first bonus disk wasn’t loading at all, so I returned it for another, and now the second one crashes when playing some sections :*( (mostly in the system section)

Very odd. This is after your advice above.

Sorry to hear this fellow PS3 owners. Mine works fine. Maybe it has something to do with the model of the Ps3 or if you imported(doubtful). I have a 60 GB PS3.

Is the Blu Ray tutorial vid region free?

Well I’d think so if PS3 games are but you never know…

Even if the Blu Ray disc is not region free, USA and Japan share the same region for Blu Ray so that shouldn’t be the problem.

I’m in England though with a Euro/Pal PS3. Blu Ray films are usually region locked so that’s why I’m unsure about the tutorial vid.

The tutorial blueray is not region locked …
I’m having the US version and a Euro/Pal ps3 and it works fine !

Ok good to hear, thanks.

how many people are having this problem? So far my ps3 can read it just fine.

Mine works fine except for the character voices being in English in the tutorial. Makes it unwatchable (not trying to start a debate. Just… sad).

Also, Jessica Chobot is clothed throughout the whole thing, which I consider to be some sort of bug or oversight.

lol what? :lame:

Minor mistake. :china:

the ps3 plays dvds anyway doesn’t it how come you didn’t just give the ps3 users a dvd too.

Because then it wouldn’t be in HD.
