I’d recently been added to a couple group chats and they’re giving me both regular notifications as well as a notice that there are messages in my inbox.
With one or two messages this really isn’t a big deal, as you can very easily skip past the message notification to see your other notifications, but when you have 400 or so over the course of a couple weeks just from receiving messages, the flaw in the system becomes very apparent.
I’m sort of wondering why an incoming message puts out both alerts at all, when the inbox should only deal with that and the general notification can be for devil summoning and posts to your user profile.
