I’m not sure how the buttons are supposed to be setup as this is my first time playing… am I doing this wrong? I have it setup as:
A: Light Punch
B: Light Kick
C: Heavy Punch
D: Heavy Kick

Now compared to GGPO…XBL isn’t even decent. But it’s good for training, and good for players who don’t know about GGPO. The non fg community I mean so they can be introduced to us. You get it?:tup:

Yea that makes sense. It would be nice if people bought the game AND played it on GGPO, instead of just boycotting the game because a feature (already crap on previous SNK releases) sucks.

And Gato is too fun. Honestly I feel such a difference from playing Rock to Gato. Rock is so difficult in dealing damage. At least for me

Everyone I’ve played sucks so far. I lost once due to lag, horrible horrible lag. I saw some names from SRK/GGPO/2DF and most dropped or kicked me:(

Shame to hear that some of you guys got really bad lag, but I’ve had 90% of my matches be perfect (or not noticable to me anyway), and I live in Australia, which is supposed to be a black hole of internet connections. Maybe because I was playing mostly Japanese players?

In any event I have never played this game before I got it on XBLA (Downloaded it early via the website, thanks to the tips on this forum!) and it is just OUTSTANDING! I love it to bits, such a great fighter. The single player is fun too (especialy survival).

I’ve been using Freeman mostly, and Terry on the side. I like using Tizoc too, but I’m not as good with him. Overall, just such a fun game, and my online experience has been really good so far, so hopefully it stays like that.

I’m no Rock player, but isn’t it better to go for :qcf::qcf::snkd: :d::u::snkc: after his cancel toss? It’s a kiss of death if you have a tiny TOP bar.

If you attack with any normal, you cancel into qcb+D, 360+C (BR), d, u+A, qcfx2+D, d, u+C. If you do the 360+C (BR) as a stand alone move, you can do qcfx2+D, d, u+C.

I don’t know if this has been mentioned or not, but the default controls for the XBL Arcade port has a “command” button mapped to LB. This handy-dandy pre-mapped button conveniently performs a predetermined combos for you; in some cases these auto-combos are devastating as all get out, check Rock’s or Kevin’s to see what I mean. I don’t know whether I should be pissed or happy about this.
