in hotaru’s 2B into super combo you can do any of her supers instead of just her B version by karaing the button for the super you want into down B so it would be
2b 236236 +2a or 2c or 2d than immediately 2b and you will get whatever super you want. a or c super are recommended at point blank since they do more damage.
I think if you do 2b 2b 23623 2D immediately 2B it will combo at slightly further range than a b version.
if you are bothering to do 2b into super this is probubly always better since it does more damage and if you mess up you will only get the b super version.
also does she have any good jenet specific combos.
Thing with Hotaru’s :d: + :snkb: into super is it’s risky unless you can land that consistant. It wouldn’t rely on it too much, especially in a match. I would also mainly try it near the corner because you have a chance of the super missing. If you hit them too far with :d: + :snkb: the super might whiff them.
As for Jenet combos it all depends on how you hit her in the air or if you land a counter hit. There are a ton of combo variations you can do on her really. What you want watch out for is counter hits cause that is when Hotaru can really extend her combos on Jenet for added damage. I’ll list as many as I can remember but like I said there are many variations you can do.
Mid-screen (Jenet only):
-Jump :d: + :snkb:, :snka:, :qcb: + :snkb:. You have to time the :d: + :snkb: to hit Jenet on her shoulder area so the :snka: into :qcb: + :snkb: can combo fully. If you hit the :d: + :snkb: lower than her shoulder area you’ll whiff the :qcb: + :snkb: or only get 1 hit from it. It just requires timing.
-AA :d: + :snka: + :snkb: (you have to hit Jenet late before she touches the ground), :dp: + :snkd: or :qcf:x2 + :snkb:/:snkd: or TOP attack (:snkc: + :snkd:).
-AA :d: + :snka: + :snkb: (you have to hit Jenet late before she touches the ground), :qcb: + :snkb:, break (:snka: + :snkb:), :qcf: + :snkc:. You can also do after the break, run into TOP attack before she lands. As soon as you break start her run then do the TOP attack as she runs to hit her.
-Jump in :snkd: (as Jenet is jumping down before she lands, if they dont’ JD), land, stand :snka/:snkd: (it combos), :qcf:x2 + :snkb:/:snkd:.
Mid-screen with Counter hit (Jenet only):
-:qcb: + :snkb: (counter hit), break, small jump :snkd:, land, :dp: + :snkd: or TOP attack or :qcf:x2 + :snkb:/:snkd:.
-:qcb: + :snkb: (counter hit), break, jump, late hitting :snkd:, land, stand :snka:/:snkd:, :dp: + :snkd: or TOP attack or :qcf:x2 + :snkb:/:snkd:.
-:qcb: + :snkb: (counter hit), break, walk in, stand :snkd: or :d: + :snka: + :snkb:, :qcf:x2 + :snkb:/:snkd:.
-:qcb: + :snkb: (counter hit), break, walk in, stand :snkd: or :d: + :snka: + :snkb:, :qcb: + :snkb:, :qcf: + :snkc: or run in TOP attack.
-:qcb: + :snkb: (counter hit), break, jump, :d; + :snkb:, :snka:, :qcb: + :snkb:. You still have to time to :d: + :snkb: even with the counter hit but you should at least get the :qcb: + :snkb: to hit once.
-:qcb: + :snkb: (counter hit), break, jump, late hitting :snkd:, land, stand :snkd:, :qcb: + :snkb:, :qcf:x2 + :snkc: or run into TOP attack. The tricky part is getting the jump :snkd: to hit Jenet in the air while you land and combo stand :snkd: after it. That is why you have to hit late with the jump in :snkd: before if hit too early the stand :snkd: wont combo and just whiff her.
Corner (Jenet only):
-Jump :d: + :snkb:, :snkd:, :qcb: + :snkb:/:snkd:, land, :dp: + :snkd: or :qcf:x2 + :snkb:/:snkd:. The :d: + :snkb: has to hit her shoulder area or the :qcb: + :snkd: will whiff or hit 1 time.
-Jump in :snkd: so it hits late, land, stand :snkd:, :dp: + :snkd: or TOP attack or :qcf:x2 + :snkb:/:snkd:. You can also do the super after the TOP attack hits as well for more damage.
-AA :d: + :snka: + :snkb: (you have to hit Jenet late before she touches the ground), :qcb: + :snkd:, break, TOP attack or RTK :qcb: + :snkb:/:snkd:, land, :qcf:x2 + :snkb:/:snkd:. If you dont have meter you can do :dp: + :snkd: at the end of the RTK :qcb: + :snkb:/:snkd:.
Corner with Counter hit (Jenet only):
-:qcb: + :snkb: (counter hit), break, jump :d: + :snkb:, :snkd:, :qcb: + :snkb:/:snkd:, land, :dp: + :snkd: or :qcf:x2 + :snkb:/:snkd:. It’s possible to land a TOP attack after as well but you have to time it. It’s easier landing the :dp: + :snkd: anyways when you don’t have meter.
-:qcb: + :snkb: (counter hit), break, jump in :snkd: so it hits late, land, stand :snkd:, :qcb: + :snkb:, break, TOP attack or RTK :qcb: + :snkb:/:snkd:, land, :qcf:x2 + :snkb:/:snkd:. If you do the TRK :qcb: + :snkb:/:snkd: then her :snkd: kick P power in TOP mode it should kill Jenet with full life.
That should cover the main Jenet only combos you should worry about.

Is it just me or is seeing garou on live a lil weird. I mean I’m cool with it and all but I still love my dreamcast copy and to see it on live is a lil like damn I wish they wouldn’t put up great games live and keep them as they are but oh well cest la vie.
