Just got back from EVO and tired as hell. I’ll post about what went down and shout outs when I get back from work.
I have a favour to ask, i have alot of trouble dealing with pressure especially from the air, anybody care to list up some good anti airs for all chracters, at both ranges as in directly above you or jumping in from say 2 characters distance i find alot of stuff gets stuffed easy or trades, of course there’s some exception like gato and marcos anti air supers.
Again I know there’s moves like dongs dp hotaru but i’d like to know if i should be using them or are there better alternatives
I know it’s a ways away, but will there be any Garou players at Season Beatings, or any other upcoming events?
What a weekend. It was great meeting and playing with you guys at Evo. Hopefully we can get together again at another event sometime. Maybe NEC at the end of the year?
I should be able to help out with that. I’ve done my fair share of tearing apart controllers. In worst case, we may just drill out the stripped screws to get it open.
Not sure about Season Beatings, but I will be at Summer Jam in Philly at the end of the month. I’m going to try getting a Garou side tourney going there, and if that doesn’t happen, I’ll at least get people together for some casuals in a room.
Okay so now that I’m back to normal (sleep). I can finally post. Just wanted to say first of all that I’m sorry there was no tournament this year. Priority for this EVO was mainly getting KOFXIII setup and running. It was a lot of work for me and Giby. I would say more for Giby because without his help there probably wouldn’t have been a tournament along with prizes. We did do lots of casuals for MOTW. There was nothing recorded though which sucks. The only thing that did get recorded was when me and Giby did both the infinite super glitch and Hotaru reflect bug. Overall I think the highlight of this EVO was the after EVO casuals we had in delly’s and gypsy’s room. I had fun meeting and playing with djdelly, digital gypsy, jt4mtb, logiclv and everyone else I played. I hope you all had fun playing and maybe learned some things as well. Things should be smoother next EVO if all goes well.
As for doing more tournaments I’m not sure if I’ll be able to go anywhere else this year. I just depends on my schedule really. Problem for me is that I work on weekends and it’s hard requesting those days off. So it’s not something I can do whenever I feel like doing it. I’ll also reply to all the questions asked by tomorrow. I just got home and will probably knock out soon.
I ended up doing that myself and fixed it. Thanks for the offer though, looks like I couldn’t salvage much from my two PSone Dual Shocks because they’re different revisions and look entirely different inside.

It’s not worth playing online on the 360 version. Sad but true. You are better off playing on GGPO.
euro players can drop me a challenge when you see my name, Kareeeeem on GGPO. I’m really not that good but am working on Butt, maybe some hokotomaru on the side.
You can use the 360 training mode to help you practice combos and junk, but the online is horrible. You’re better off hopping on ggpo to play.

It’s that time of the month again. Anyone who’s around the Philly, PA area and wants to play, I’m having my monthly Garou session this Friday night (8/19). People are free to come by anytime after 7-8pm. I’m located in Glenolden, which is near the airport. Let me know if you’re thinking of coming by. Otherwise, I should have a stream running as usual.
