You are more than welcome to join. We usually do them pretty late though. If you have AIM or MSN just add me. Everyone is welcomed to join but I think more than 3 people on a podcast would be a bit much. Expect a lot more podcast from Giby and myself since EVO is around the corner now. i don’t know if anyone knows, or if this is old news or what… but whatever happened to the sequel to MOTW that was supposedly halfway finished in 2006? Is it dead or just sitting unfinished on a shelf somewhere?
I’ve tried getting into KoF, but MOTW is just so much more fun, I can’t see why there isn’t another game like it on the market right now.
It was at a time SNKP was converting to use the Atomiswave and piracy was even greater concern with emulation. Are the two main reasons it got cancelled. In simpler words lack of man power and piracy.
Also it wasn’t a true sequel it was a Special edition that featured some classic Fatal Fury Characters and Ryo.

If there is something specific you need with Terry just ask and I’ll help as much as possible. I haven’t had much time to clean up the thread like I want to. Hopefully I can get it adjusted just before EVO comes around.
So yesterday some people told me that you can cancel your opponents throw invincibility by tapping down after a tick. Not only is this crazy, I’m also very curious why this isn’t on the wiki/first page.
I was always under the impression that tick throws were completely useless in this game, and this little tidbits instantly makes them a lot more useful.
I should have went into a bit more detail. It doesn’t cancel it (I probably said cancel in the room), it just shortens the window to which you can throw an opponent. As for why it isn’t in the wiki, there are several things Noc and I need to put in there, we’re just preoccupied with other things. We slowly add things to it, but we’ll continue on a faster pace after Evo.
Yeah I noticed it isn’t quite cancelling, but it is an enormous shortening for sure. It goes to like 6 or 7 frames instead of ten billion (or more accurately 20 or so?)

When youre close to being guard crushed and you back off and find some space does the meter fill up again or are you constantly in danger of being guard crused the remainder or the round?
Yea it cools down after a while from not getting hit. JDing also helps with clearing it.
Im finding grant a very hard match up to deal with, he has too many advantages to tackle. vs Kevin match up seems a lot more manageable as their are openings and cool down periods from kevin strategy. Ive yet to find them against grant.
