I posted this on FB, but thought I should share it here too:

If you aren’t on Twitter, you should make an account now! A big part of helping the NorCal scene grow, is getting the word out there, and it takes more than just a few people to do so. If you seriously want to see NorCal players and events on the map, start joining the FGC conversation, instead of just reading about it. It doesn’t matter if you have a thousand followers or just ten, every bit counts. :D

Some quick tips to get you started:
[]Promote events you’re at and future events you’ll be attending.
[]Talk about your placings at tourneys (good or bad).
[]Share your thoughts on the games you play (strategy, tips, etc.)
[]Engage in conversation with the entire FGC not just NorCal peeps.

Learn to retweet. It’s how things go viral on Twitter and how the word gets spread.

Sounds good, maybe i’ll stop being lazy. I have a twitter account but never use it. I blame it on weed.
Never blame weed… follow me at @Hello_Vinnie for 925 sessions and tourneys in the deeper east bay.

I had a twitter account from like day 2, but for all these years, I never found a reason to use it until a few months ago, when I discovered how much fun it is to talk to my fellow FGC members on it. Watching Kusoru take Final Round & being apart of the subsequent twitter blowups (yea, I don’t do stream chat sorry) was Too Good.
A lotta NorCal players are up on the tweeter, so come join the fun!
PS: obligatory “Follow me @hagure !!!one” At the very least, you can check my friends list for cooler people to follow haha.
@tehraysel
listen to me complain about things
@oooitzlpn
Yes, and people with generally more followers help by retweeting and promoting #FF on fridays. Follow me @magus1234 . And try to be somewhat active so you can get me through work

looks like there’s a long way to go.
@shanexvx
Don’t tweet often and I’ve been not attending shit lately because of life but I’m trying to get back into the swing of things now that shit’s settling down.
@entrerix, i mostly just follow, but play locally and have “sponsored” a few players in the past (ie donated 20-50 for gas food to cover costs etc) for california events
Definitely going to tweet about NCR this weekend. :>
@stersauce, but generally I tweet about stupid shit. It’s best if you only read during weekends of majors!
Tweeted the hell outta #NCRX this weekend (at least until my phone died early Sunday).
PS: NCR Needed a set hashtag, I saw a lotta #NCR, in addition to #NCRX
