General Casshern Information/Combos

True story. Also it’s better for DHCs. Casshern/Polymar have a full kill on Karas tagging in with an unblockable trap. I dunno if you’ve seen it, haha.

Yeah well I think it was actually an air dash instead of a super jump, but it’s the same idea. In any event, I’m glad you like the channel. I’m going to try and get a lot of stuff back up there once the new game rolls around.

and as soon as I say that, UAS comes out and not only is there more cooldown after the unblockable punch, the A drill kick doesn’t stand up anymore.

Just messing around and found a pretty cool combo with him.

Setup (optional): :hcb::snkb: OR :hcb::snkc: OR jump-in :snkc: INTO:

:snka:, :d::snka:, :snkb:, :d::snkb:, :r::snkb:, :qcf::snka:, BBQ, Dash Foward, :snka:, :d::snka:, :snkb:, :d::snkb:, :r::snkb:, :qcf::snkb:, :df::snkc:, Super Jump, :snka:, :snka:, :snkb:, :snkb:, :qcf::snkc:, Land, :dp::snka::snkb:

Do note that for the super, you’ll end up landing on the opposite side of the opponent, thus having to input the super motion in the other direction (unless you’re in the corner).

In the corner, you can add an extra :snkb: if you Double Jump.

It’s a ton of damage, but of course, can be MC’d. I hope you guys find it useful!

He doesn’t have any air Supers, as far as I know. His** Brutal Axe** Super can only be done on the ground. Do correct me if I’m wrong, though.

I managed to extend the aerial portion of the combo… Does about 20bill damage now or so. I should record this for the lulz.

no he doesn’t have any air supers, but any combo that ends with the C version of the drill kick can be followed up with an OTG chop super when you hit the ground, just do the motion for the super as you’re falling and it will connect

Also i believe before your super jump do a B denkou punch, then dash forward and do something like A,B,Launcher. You can probably do a bit more but stagger makes it confuseing

Yes comboing the djb b qcf C is a bit tricky but you can combo a super after it.

im thinking maybe on crouching characters or smalls like roll.

did his j.C always cross up on big to semi big characters? if so im getting it a lot more often in UAS

st C, assist, hcb+B is still the hotness. (w/appropriate assist)

Awesome to know, then. I think I’ll limit myself to what I have. There’s still way too many things I’ve to learn about him…not to mention a second character. xD

Midscreen variation: 5a 5b 2b 5c 236AB baroque 5a 5b 2b 5c assist 63214B 5a 5b 2b 5c 236a 41236AB. 25.9bil, still 1 bar. The timing’s pretty tight; I wouldn’t recommend it for a beginning player. If it doesn’t work, then you’re not doing it fast enough.

You can replace everything after the B friender in the first combo with a 421AB (TANKAI KOUSEN!!!) for massive damage (30.5bil, great finisher.)

I’m having some real trouble getting in with Cash. His IAD j.C is pretty slow and B friender is pretty predictable. Am I better off using an assist to cover myself?

Morrigan or Ryu assist gets you some excellent coverage; feel free to go a little higher and cross them up if they’re predicting an IAD and hitting you with anti-airs. Just keep doing stuff they don’t expect, and use a pressure assist to cover yourself.
A-friender instead of B-friender might also help get a knockdown so you can get your momentum going; you can’t technically combo off of it, but the knockdown gives you time to get in their face. If you can catch them off-guard with that then it sets you in a much better position. Or you could just use Frank’s assist and dash in. XD

You can combo A Friender after an assist call, if you want the knockdown (but then again, if you hit with an assist that keeps them grounded, might as well throw out B friender lol). That works well with Polymar.

who makes a good partner for Cashern? While I was unlocking all the characters earlier today I played Cashern and really liked him for some reason. So I decided to try to main him, though not sure who to use for a partner.
