Jeez, this game needs to come out already so people can stop fighting over nothing. People must be bored or something…
15 buck games are life changing serious business.

What time does PSN update? o_O I can’t wait! /dashie
I played the shit out of 2nd Impact and 3rd Strike I like 3S gameplay much better eventhough 2I was damn good as well. I didn’t like the Sean nerf because looking at how Makoto and Chun Li were like in 3S nerfing him seem like a waste. Besides that I can respect the music of both games. Good Fighter is Ryu’s best theme period imo making his 3rd strike theme seem more like a mid boss theme. While on the other hand Akuma’s in 2nd is a joke compared the 3S. While Get on the Train D&B mix is Necro’s theme while Snowland is Twelve’s. Circuit is easily better then Bottoms Up for Hugo. While when it comes to rest of the cast that was in 2I their themes are pretty much split even with the quality of the 3S themes. What’s wrong with the remixes in OE is that the melody is basically gone from every track in turn for a modern sound. In my opinion when you skip out on melody for a certain sound you kinda missed the point of making a theme.
do you guys think the psn will update early in the afternoon or pretty late?
Fuck my life, just when I load money into my US account, this shizz pops up.

it’s the day of 3SOE launch now all we gotta do is wait until 5:00-6:00 PM…
I guess this was the trade-off of getting the special 3SO theme for ps3? I’d much rather have the avatars as well but oh well.
Man, another case of Asians fuckin’ with their own kind… (seriously, that sucks)
I was seriously hoping the xbl version of this game dropped today on my birthday but sadly it will drop on thursday oh well .I guess i will go to sleep now.
I’ll try not to but with all the work they’ve done with the game so far, you’d think it’d be easy and possible to have it upload videos in HD upon release @_@
I have to wait over 24 hours before I can get the game since I’m using EU PSN =/
besides all the pointless arguments i just read…can’t wait to try out 3s and see what all the hype is really about.
growing up messing around with 3s but not really discovering how deep the game is was like 9-11yr old im ready to see how deep the game goes.
I wasn’t even supposed to pay money. I actually received a 360 code as a gift from Sven for bringing to their attention all the bugs and stuff we were concerned about in the other thread… except I don’t have a 360.
And no, Toshin has dibs on it, that is if Sven lets me keep it (he just might replace it with PS3 goodies instead).
I definitely liked this review the best of all the reviews. It’s to the point and isn’t filled by a bunch of filler ignorant rambling or hurping and durping every other paragraph about the game’s balance.
Desora was hella uploading replays including this awesome Makoto match.

OH SHIT!!
New sig time.
If videos are live encoded (ie. during matches), the less quality the better for the user experience.
I am So Hyped right now!
Too bad the comments section is filled with the usual crap, including some pretty long winded ones about how “parries break the game.”
Nothing could beat the original Q theme. I mean, sure, you can try, but you can’t improve on perfection. I hear that original Q theme, it makes me come down with a case of kuroda fever, and I immediately do a Q taunt in real life
So, my first thought after hearing the Q remix was the same as yours: :eek:o_O:shake:
But after listening to the rest of remixes, they kind of grew on me. I was just expecting covers, but these are legit new songs. Yea, I’ll always prefer the old Q theme, but most of the original 3S soundtrack is unmemorable. There are some good tracks in there, but I really could care less about Jazzy NYC, Snowland, whatever. I mean, when I try to remember Remy’s stage, all I get is a bunch of noise and pixelated smoke. So the remixes are a welcome break to the monotony. I mean, I’ve been hearing Makoto’s music in my sleep from playing it too much–her stage is the only one that doesn’t slow down when playing Anniversary Collection on 360. Something different is welcome. After a few listens, I guess I could see punching a fool to the Q mix…? I just wish the game supported custom soundtracks. (It doesn’t, right?)
Well… the Joystiq review isn’t entirely factually sound. EX moves were pioneered by Street Fighter The Movie: The Game as far as I remember.
