Comparing a $15 game features to $300 software features? Good shit.
I’m not the one with my nose in the air going “Why can’t Capcom make their record feature upload to youtube in the same high quality as Final Cut Pro” downplaying that console straight to youtube is a reality.
Speaking of dumb shit…
Show the proof that Capcom could’ve done better or evidence that supports your paranoid fear that Capcom is withholding high quality for DLC.
Xbox owners can’t upload directly to their channels?
Capture card it is.
i seriously want this game to come out at midnight on the psn but i only remember socom coming out at midnight…so i doubt 3SOE is that important to sony
any thoughts on dudley’s?
Dudley’s is cool. The high pitched mainstream techno sounds kinda drowns out the house sound of the original which I’m not a big fan of but on it’s own I like it. Some of the tracks are already pretty good or have grown on me but it’s like half and half ATM. Jazzy NJC is an abomination though. I’ll never like that song unless the 2nd/3rd mix is mixed by Jesus instead.
I think the main thing people are having with his music is that he has certain type of sounds that he probably puts into all of his music and people aren’t used to his music being blown up with his specific sound. I think people were more expecting OC Remix style stuff where the songs are a bit more tailored to the original themes at times. Which is basically what HD Remix was which gave you more of a variety in music styles. All of the remixed music was done by this one guy who has his specific high pitched tones that he presents and while it’s kind of the big thing among most mainstream electronic listeners I’m not a big fan of it. I definitely prefer the old house/breakbeat/dnb stuff.

This is his example from some of his music that he did for Bionic Commando Rearmed. Which of course being a remake of an old school platforming game those types of sounds do well with that game. With 3S though I can see why a lot of people are turned off when Jazzy NYC and Q’s theme sound more like something out of a remixed platformer or the new Tron movie than a remix to a fighting game heavily influenced by groovy house/jungle/dnb etc. Some people literally swear by those 2 songs so it’s easy to get people agitated by something that sounds too original as opposed to original but still retaining the flavor of the song.
The only 2 I really don’t care for is Q’s Theme Remix and Jazzy NYC Remix.
Urien Theme Remix leaves me scratching my head though, it’s really different.
I’m still loling at Elena’s theme remix.
If there’s one thing I don’t like about forums, it’s that anyone can post.
I like what SF4 has done for the community, but I HATE the attitudes and ideas these fucks brought with them.
I don’t know if it’s capcom so much as the directors of the games being given directions from capcom in the form of “Find some way to keep making money off of this until the next game comes out” and they come up with DLC on disk and all that crap.
Dlc is only unlocks and that secret tournament replays expecting some major like sprite edits, rebalancing, and reworked versions of old stages is pretty absurd.
the whole 240p problem could be from Youtube not trusting Iron Galaxy and Capcom. Also, besides Noby Noby Boy and Pixel Shooter what games had youtube features of direct uploading to Youtube. I can see Youtube being cautious when a company wants to add an upload directly to Youtube.
Inference =/= evidence
Nope not paranoid at all. Completely rational thinking.
Um can I see the proof that this half assed? Anything that proves that within the resources and allotted time that they could have done better.
When making statements like these:
sounds like you know a lot about implementing and the limitations of straight to youtube from video game console software into games because you did it on your computer.
Straw man. Didn’t say it was perfect, I called you vain in which means I acknowledge it’s LQ.

BTW I hope you guys realize you’re having the same argument in at least 2 threads.
You have to understand that many people here are here primarily to play and watch good street fighter matches. If you feel somehow emasculated at any potential inferiority in the display resolution, that’s fine. But realize most of the people here are not going to be in that boat.
Capcom’s been operating in that way for a long time. The tools have gotten better, but to pretend it’s a new phenomena is a bit of a stretch.
ad hominem
Thanks for playing
I’m taking notes, there’s some god like trolling going on in here.
I dont even care about the upload thing. I’ll record them off my capture card like I did when I played SF4. Don’t know if I’ll actually be doing that though.
The only remix theme I particularly like is Elena theme, even though it doesn’t really the stage.
The Online Whiners on MVC3 are really making me want this game sooner rather than later…
It’s worth having to look at two different threads talking about the same stuff just for this right here.
