It could go both ways. The original plan was for there to be a Match 1 and Match 2 category, in which players would discuss which character would be used in either bracket for enemy team with their partner, then report to me privately. I would then draw out each cell according to what both teams of each cell told me, and it wouldn’t be drawn or uploaded until all teams reported in of their decisions. Halfway drawing out the table though, I took into consideration how much time and trouble it would save players if I just removed that option, so I pre-arranged the matches for a specific match up guide. However, that seemed to cause more confusion and players started playing however they wanted. Then I thought it would just be better for teams to work out how to play themselves, like you said, but even that didn’t work out.
So now, this vote will ultimately decide how the matches will be played. I did say that teams were allowed duplicate characters. If you did go solo with the same 2 characters (most likely your main), it wouldn’t matter what order you fought, you’re using your best character and that’s how it is in other games.
For now, team games are nulled until 6PM EST, with the exception of solo teams with duplicate characters. You can still play against those.

NarcCaes wanted me to relay a note/message to the tourny participants. He wants to know if anyone is available to play some matches at around 11-12 at night eastern. ***I won the first match we had. I was under the impression that it was only ONE match we played. I then remained in the room while I went to check the rules for matchups. He started the match and I thought we where now just playing for fun…you know since it’s only supposed to be one match. I even messaged this guy saying “One Match” since he didn’t have a mic, or if he did didn’t answer me. So after 3 matches he messages me saying “I win 2 out of 3”. What’s the deal? I won the first match…and never agreed to playing two out of three for the win…just continued to play thinking it was just for fun.
Yes you are correct. It is one, and only one match per player. Best 2 out 3 rounds, best 1 of 2 games. I don’t know why he would think winning 2 out of 3 matches against 1 player (unless you’re a solo team) would result in a win, especially since he has played a few teams before you.
Hey that was a pretty nifty soundtrack you had going on in that advertising video. Do you have video editing software? Maybe when we get some recorded matches you can edit it in to make sort of a promo video lol. Anyways that was cool of you to do that, thanks!

It’s stated in the rules that when you’re invited or inviting a competing player into a match during the week that you have to consider it to be official, even if there is no mention or talk about it beforehand. I don’t understand why people get all confused about it when they don’t read the rules and then when they’re told they act even more confused like they didn’t know. Of course you didn’t know, you didn’t even bother reading anything (not picking on vegetabroly by the way, I’m speaking for the general populace).
