Geki is Vega's (Claw) and Ibuki's master

Hi
hey Udon. I hope that you’ll incorporate the logical and cannon idea of Geki (why have you made Gen into killing him???) being the master, who taught Vega ninjitsu (apparently because of the claw) and as i have read, he was the father of ibuki too.

what is the origin of the best looking assasin anyway?

i would love to see a page like in #10 with gen, yun and yang, but this time with vega, geki and ibuki

and let vega kill gen off, not the boring cannon way of akuma/gen fight!

and show us how the backside story of one of the first issues, where Vega steals the Cammy-Data continues into him and Bison making the last doll Dekabre(the one with Vega’s mask)

continue the great work

No offence intended but I agree, when people stray too far from the Canon they make shit like the SF movie or whatever.

Gen Vs. Akuma has always been one of my favourite plots, Vega shouldn’t be equal to Gen despite age. Also I’m not sure but didn’t Vega self-teach his style from a mix of acrobatic skills and ninjitsu or something? I thought that was in his SF Collection 2 profile Goes to check

From Street Fighter Collection 2 (Okay I was a little off):

“Of noble blood, Vega has successfully crafted an eclectic style of fighting using his skills as a matador, mixed with the art of Ninpo. The beautiful and deadly ballet Vega created has earned him the nickname of the “Spanish Ninja”. Vain and narcissistic, Vega despises anything ugly and considers himself to be the epitome of perfection”.

It implies to me that he crafted the martial art himself  Doesn’t really mention Ninjitsu…

ninpo is the higher learning of ninjutsu, the ideals twords life and the way of the warrior. I study ninjutsu/ninpo… so i know lol

Alright you win this round -_- lol

didn’t vega scar cammy’s face?

What the fuck? First you complain that they aren’t following canon by tracing Geki’s legacy - then you want them to break canon and have Vega kill Gen. Jesus Christ - Make up your mind!

Nobody seems to know. Her ssf profile kinda hints that the scar is a result of her final Shadowloo mission when it botched and left her without a memory and injured. The Cammy Gaiden manga has Vega claiming Shadowloo themselves put the mark on her, and him thinking that since she hadn’t erased it, she was still loyal.

Vega has nothing to do with Geki you fucktard!

Hahaha

OMFGHI2U!
like, vega is so hot and so is ibuki. maybe they’re lovers too. and like, maybe udon should like listen to you cause i bet you have read some like realy good fanfics that should totally be kannen and stuffs and yeah. Like, have you ever thought about working for like, udon comics or stuff? maybe you could like make your own comic that sticks to kannen and shows that chun-li actually loves ryu AND guile and that akuma is just a rusty old man and vega kills him too!

like omfg…totally.

that’s what i call beasting…

What does beasting mean?

You’ll find out soon enough.

Dude if thats how you want the street fighter comic to be then you should just read this.

Its not like me to just post a completely pointless message, but this time round one thing comes to mind…

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I would rather read about Malibu Barbie than Malibu Street Fighter…

At least Malibu Barbie does’t post Kens scalp to his friends…

eeeek…i own that!

biggest piece of excement ever!

my friend thought it would be a good birthday present, the ass…

Check the attatchment, I don’t remember Vega doing this pose in SF2, so maybe Capcom placed it in there to show that Vega really did learn from Geki. I makes sense to me.

What do people think?

What the fuck? It’s NOT fact that Geki was Vega’s master. Granted it’s a cool idea, but nothing more. How r u gonna start a topic and state something as canon without any proof?
Btw, didn’t Cammy mention that M. Bison scarred here face in her SSF2T ending? It’s no big secret. That is, unless their dialogue in the japanese version is completely different.

You’re right, it doesn’t seem to be canon like the original poster thought it might be (well I can’t find any quotes on it - not that there are that many for SF1 chars). However, it is a possibility that Vega was trained in part by Geki. One that I have heard countless times, and after my revelation two posts down - one that looks IMHO quite likely.

First of all that Vega sprite is from SFA3, second Vega dosnt have a pose like that, that sprite frame shown there is the first part to his pose, he crosses his arms then quickly slashes his arms down to his side.

Whoever did that pic was being manipulative trying to make it look like they were connected when really they arent.
