I was hoping Raam would be in the game from the start. I used him in Gears 1 and 2. I guess I have to pay extra for him too.
Yea to get the DLC RAAM is on you will have to pay 1200 MS points. But it comes with 6 characters and 3 hours worth of prequel campaign play (You get to play as RAAM in the campaign).
Honestly just get the seasons pass it is still worth it. Especially if you plan to invest serious time into this game.

Man, I had a good team of random folks in Horde on Overpass earlier…everything was beautiful, 'til the game apparently dropped everyone(?) out to the loading screen, then suddenly I’m set way back on wave 7 (and we were in the 20s!!!)?! That good 6-figure score I had going was suddenly gone too.
*it’s still a shame that Horde kills don’t count for much of anything past weapon execution unlocks… I’d probably be close to having an Onyx Lancer at this point if the Horde kills counted. Currently, I’m only getting close to a gold medal on that.
Blood Drive seems like an awesome Horde spot once again if the team sets up base at the top of the stairs on either side… I am not sure what kind of craziness will happen when a Brumak shows up in that bitch though.
“Swamp” is also known as Bullet Marsh guys. You know, the one where you shoot the generators to turn off the lights. I think the map is in daylight now so that gets kryll out the question. Also, Thrashball Locust looks pretty badass. Still waiting till Armored Kantus turns into a multiplayer character.

Ok…the perfect active reload… I don’t recall there being “shrinkage”(heh) before. Did they tweak something here? I can’t remember off-hand if this happened with the other weapons since I was just focusing on Lancer kills tonight against some bots (my quest for the Onyx Lancer)…but ever since the DLC came out, that perfect active reload spot gradually gets smaller, at least on the Lancer. On your 3rd active reload it becomes a VERY thin line, and basically impossible to get perfect at that point. What the hell is that? This makes the active reload medal even more of a grind than it already is. I’m 99% sure it was not like this earlier.
It’s always been like that in Gears gameplay. It’s with every gun beside the retro.

Yea I wish you could level up past level 100 though.
I’m level 88 now, I’ll prolly get to the late 90’s by the 14th and then UMvC3 takes over.

Good, It’s my only starting weapon still in bronze, now I can actually do some shit with it.
I like that they’re buffing it but I think the 3rd buff is a bit much. I never had trouble using the HB before its gunna be beast now.
The hammerburst was already REALLY strong if you knew how to use it (it’s my personal try-hard weapon of choice lol) but these are reasonable buffs. I’m not sure about the 3rd buff tho.
I’ve been using it tonight, really good.
