I’ve been busy with work and such plus I have to play batman but I plan to be on here and there throughout this weekend.
well i think the community of gears just doesn’t like skorge all that much.
raam was a certain magical combo of badass and terrifying (especially in co-op insane when you’re scrambling with your buddy to keep away from him while trying to torque/sniper him). and hoping he got glitched/stuck on some cover.
skorge felt like epic was trying way too hard to make him badass (especially the whole sawing a tank scene and even marcus talking about how tough he is with dizzy in gears 2 and even in gears 3). and after all the “oh he’s so tough” talk he gets beaten with what was pretty much a QTE.

RAAM was a boomer and Scourge was a Kantus too…And he gave Marcus a scar!
Nah that nigga wields a staff with spiked clubs on the end. That is badass to the core. Of course Raam is BA too though.
A character Epic tried way to hard to make badass is Griffin. I can see the meeting for him “So what character can we make to make 15-17 year old boys cream there pants and think is the coolest thing ever”.
yeah. its funny with all the self-righteous indignation griffin is throwing around with his ranting before marcus yells at him (which was awesome) then you read the collectables and find out even his employees didn’t like him very much either
Sheeeit, I don’t even see Griffin as his own character, really… it just sounds like Ice-T being Ice-T, imo… this reminds me, there was a Gears of War 3 facebook page that apparently lets you get that character just by “Liking” the page, so you can get the character that way without having to earn the millions of dollars towards that medal for Horde.

I know, game been out 1 month but its a hawt winter baby! uggh…
there are more than a few threads on epic’s forums requesting the following:
- lowering the requirements on some of the more silly medals
- that horde/campaign/beast kills count towards medals
- lowering match counts needed for onyx, especially wingman
i honestly wish they kept the onyx levels at the ones from the beta. they were only 1000 specific weapon kills to get onyx back then as i remember. 6000 is just awful.
The dumbest medal: Execute your nemesis.
- I’ve never had a nemesis and most likely will not got one.
- It promotes sucking at the game.
- At the same time as rewarding your for sucking ass, you have the MVP medal which rewards you for playing good.
Honestly I don’t mind them being hard but they went WAAAAY to far with these. Forcing you to play with weapons/modes you might not like is ok but not these insane numbers.

Hardcore Horde is nuts. I need to play with a party though. I always play with randoms and some douche will always leave around wave 25.

I actually got my first nemesis today.Team was ass bags I couldn’t get going.
By random chance I get my nemesis down and the one bot on our team steals my kill…
Doing some serious grinding right now to get dat Kantus. Doing private matches against Casual bots with friendly fire on. Execution first to 15. Every match I try to down each of my teammates twice then revive them every round. Then go and kill the bots with the assault rifles so I can try and get the Gold Miner in the process. When I get to 14 round wins I start doing the same thing but kill my teammates and let the other team win the round so we can get in all 29 rounds.
Got 212 revives the last game lol.
Just play private Capture the leader. Get a friend get him to be the leader and keep downing him.
Beast Mode on Hardcore was way too damn easy

Don;t think there was any lag but pissed I didn’t win.
tourny was weird… first round it was 2v2v2v2, first to 3 matches 15 score
then they had a losers which was 2v2v2 then the grand finals was 2v2v2 lol…
I would have liked it to have been 2v2 the entire time but… w/e
Me and my teammate figured out a strategy to late, which is him throw a smoke and I gnasher, lmfao… worked so well.
Random people in horde are pissing me the fuck off. It always seems like two people will leave in the 25-30 range. Thanks for a complete waste of an hour or two you complete douchebags. Guess I need to find 4 people to do it with If I ever want to complete one.
Are the red wire barriers even worth it? Or the blue ones for that matter. It seems like they are super expensive to upkeep and don’t exactly do a lot more than the spikes/barbed wire. Seems like they get blown up too easy for how expensive they are too.
As far as I know I’m pretty sure they don’t allow the enemy through until they break unlike caltrops and razor wire. I’m not sure about the difference between the red and blue though.
