I prefer TDM, Execution, Warzone - but willing to play other modes. Looking for people who just want to try their best, want to improve, and willing to communicate. Not looking for people who complain a lot. I’m the type of player who prefers to team shoot, but not at all ashamed to run around with the SoS. Imo, it’s like tick throwing in SF - if it’s in the game, then it’s all good.
I play on a daily basis, so preferably someone who plays regularly too (doesn’t have to be everyday). I’m always looking to improve and I do practice often. Willing to learn, and willing to teach. You don’t have to be good, just want to have fun while tyring our best.

Whew…so grinded yesterday. Went from level 22 to 30.
Execution wise finished off Boltak and Mulcher. SO is 125/200 so far out of main weaponry.
Horde mode I got Sentry to level 5 (Almost 6, which is max), Dummy to level 4 (Close to 5), and Silverback/Turret only had marginal increases but nothing of note.
Leveling them is a permanent thing, you can upgrade them further or get special bonuses from building/using them.
For example, max Sentry guns right now shoot pulse shots that electrify and slow down targets for easy chainsaw kills or picking off. I also spend about 10% less to repair them.
The highest level Barricade I got (Maxed it out at 8 already) is a red electric field that catches enemies on fire when they even touch it, pretty swag.

There is an ez way to farm in gears for level 100…
just camp a stalk, don’t shoot the things (the things that dump them out) and you can farm!
My bro and I just finished the game last night. It was awesome. I think that the story would have been better if there was a little more backstory on the Locusts, but otherwise I enjoyed it.
Agreed, but that will probably be explained in future DLC or upcoming games. And apparently alot of the backstory is also explained in the books and the comics.
From my understanding delta’s story is over. So that means no Marcus, Dom, Baird or Cole. I’ve heard something about DLC for Bernie (that ugly rasta chick with the annoying voice Act 3 chapter 1).
Personally I would just want a campaign as RAAM how badass would that be.
Did you play Co-Op or by yourself?? I noticed during Co-Op I actually got to see different cut scenes depending on which route yup took and what character I was. Pretty cool

anyway, i really miss the classic locust theme. the one that plays mostly on the train at the end of gears 1. now THAT gets you ready for anything.
i think that maybe that the train ride is still my favorite stage of the whole series.
still act 5 of gears 3 has some amazing visuals as you near the end. i bet epic took some notes from the bulletstorm guys for that one.
I made a post about that track in the london orchestration thread. Mr. Riepl did a damn good job on the music for Gears 1. Jablonsky did his own rendition of this track in Gears 2 but I don’t think he tried to include it at all in Gears 3.
whoah, I forgot about that track… heh, annnnd it just got saved immediately. I love the music from these games as well. The menu/title screen music from part 2 is now a classic, imo… I have it and a few other tracks of Gears music on my mp3 player.
